Payton and Josie were sucking face in the kitchen. I looked for Shaun to talk to him, but I didn’t see him. I asked Park.

/"Have you seen Shaun? I wanted to talk to him,/" I mentioned to Park and Matthew.

/"Not lately, and I thought he would be at the party,/" Park answered as I furrowed my brows.

/"He’s tied up,/" Matthew mentioned, as I had my doubts.

I nodded and went to hang with my brothers.

I called Shaun and to find out where the hell he was. I didn’t see him at any meetings, which isn’t right. Meetings are essential to maintain sobriety. He didn’t pick up, so I called Uncle Nixon.

/"Uncle Nix, there’s a problem,/" I said.

You didn’t slip, did you?

/"No, I’m attending my meetings, but Shaun hasn’t been going to them,/" I told him.
