The Tenjo

Chapter 20

When Eliot woke up, he thought he'd been dreaming about Amara. But when he found her earring left behind, he knew she'd been there for real. He held onto it tightly, feeling a little less alone.

Later, Eliot gathered the village elders for a meeting. He told them about his new plan called The Tenjo. "We need to train our men to protect the village," he said firmly. "We'll make The strong and make sure we're ready for anything."

Some of the elders looked unsure, but Eliot kept talking. "We have to stick together," he insisted. "We'll show other villages how strong we are. Together, we can make a difference."

As Eliot spoke, his passion and determination were clear. "We need to stand up for each other," he urged. "We'll make our village proud."

"But Eliot i do not think this is a good decision , we are a peaceful village , i disagree" interrupts Elder Rocknell.

Eliot shocked upon hearing Elder Rocknell disagree with him , Eliot's face expressions turn numb "As the supposed leader i wasn't asking i was informing, this plan will still be going forward" , his tone increasing.

"Enough brat" Elder Kelvin yells , "Do not make me stop you myself" , he points his finger at Eliot "I was blessed to have the powers of rising snakes when i please who follow my every command" , snakes start slithering out of no where towards Eliot hissing.

Eliot stood his ground, his eyes narrowed with determination as the elder's words cut through the tension like a knife. "You think your petty snake tricks scare me?" he announces, his voice laced with defiance.

As the serpents slithered closer, Eliot could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. But he refused to back down, his resolve not giving up even in the face of danger. "I may not have your so-called powers," he continued, his voice rising above the hiss of the snakes, "but I have something far greater , the strength of will and the determination to protect this village, no matter the cost."

With a swift motion, Eliot raised his hand, a surge of energy emanating from his palm. The air crackled with electricity as his aura flared to life, enveloping him in a shimmering barrier of dark light. The snakes recoiled, hissing in agitation as they encountered the invisible force field.

Elder Kelvin's eyes widened in disbelief, his confidence shattering for the first time. "What... what are you?" he stammered, his voice tinged with fear.

"An alley if you all agree , a enemy if you don't" he declares.

By the end of the meeting, Eliot had convinced the elders to support his plan. They nodded in agreement, seeing his vision for a better future. With The Tenjo, they believed they could face whatever challenges lay ahead.
