Swelling Pride

Chapter 21

The sun dipped low on the horizon as Eliot stood before his assembled recruits, their faces eager and determined. "Today marks the beginning of a new era," he proclaimed, his voice ringing out with confidence. "Today, we stand not as individuals, but as members of the Tenjo, a force for change in this world."

The recruits nodded in agreement, their eyes shining with anticipation. They had come from far and wide, drawn to Eliot's vision of unity and strength. Under his guidance, they would become more than just soldiers, they would become a family, bound by a common purpose.

As the weeks passed, Eliot led his recruits through difficult training exercises, honing their skills and installing in them the values of discipline and teamwork. Together, they would face whatever challenges lay ahead, united in their determination to protect their village and its people.

But Eliot knew that their mission extended far beyond the borders of their own village. With the elders' blessing, he dispatched small teams of recruits to neighbouring nations and villages, spreading the word of the tenjo and recruiting new members to their cause.

And before his very eyes, the Tenjo grew from a small band of 40 to a formidable force of 650 members, each one sworn to uphold the ideals of their leader. Eliot stood at the top, his heart swelling with pride as he watched his vision come to life. Soon the village's population grew to about 800 people , with constant building and renovations occurring to make room for the new residents.

Yet Eliot couldn't shake the feeling of unease that crept at the edges of his mind. He knew that he needs to keep this organisation and group straight, so he comes with the idea to personally find strong wielders of power to lead 4 divisions of Tenjo.

As Eliot stood before the gathered elders, his expression was sharp, his voice firm. "I am embarking on a journey," he announced, "to seek out individuals of great power who can lead sub-divisions of the Tenjo."

The elders exchanged glances, their brows furrowed with concern. "And what of the village?" Elder Kelvin inquired, his tone skeptical. "Who will oversee our affairs in your absence?"

Eliot met his gaze squarely. "I have every confidence in your abilities," he replied. "You and the other elders will hold the fort in my absence, ensuring the safety and prosperity of our people you all led this village before me i am sure you will be fine."

Elder Samra nodded in agreement, her expression thoughtful. "It is a bold endeavour," she conceded, "but one that could greatly strengthen the Tenjo and our village as a whole."

Eliot inclined his head in gratitude. "I will not return until I have found suitable leaders for our sub-divisions," he declared. "Until then, I entrust the village to your care."

Eliot walks out of the council chambers, ready to embark on this journey.
