The assailants, having accomplished their grim task, approach Prince Alaric to report the completion of their mission. Across the kingdom, Princess Elena and Alaric celebrate in oblivious joy, not caring of the devastation that they had orchestrated.

In the midst of the grieving crowd, Eliot whispers a vow of revenge to himself, determined to avenge the senseless deaths of his friends and fellow villagers.
