Marriage Decision

Song Yu's shift ended a little late today due to one customer, and she went home as usual, but when she got on the bus, a boy kept staring at her.

Song yu became rather concerned, and she immediately departed the bus before her stop, deciding to walk the distance home because she could not afford the cab fee.

Jiang Shu's car arrived at his parents' house, which was about twice the size of Jiang Villa.

"Miss Shu, we've arrived," the driver stated.

Jiang Shu had come 5 minutes ago, but she had not moved. So the driver has no choice but to say that.

Jiang Shu gave the driver a chilly gaze before opening the car. She walked as her heartbeat quickened.

Just as she got at the gate, the watchman swiftly opened it and said,"Miss Shu, good evening."

"Evening," she said, and departed; the maids at the mansion opened the door. And let Jiang Shu in; her gaze fell on her mother, who was heading towards her.

Jiang Li instantly came and held her daughter and kissed her on the forehead, "Come in, me and your father have been waiting for a long time."

Jiang Shu walked while her mother held her hands and let her sit at the dining table. On the meal, foods were made as a flavor of Jiang Shu's favorite.

"Your dad will come soon; let's wait a little bit," Jiang Li remarked.

"So how have you been these days?" Jiang Li asked.

"I am fine"

"Shu , you know we were always worried about you, the fewer you talk ,the less you come home, please don't this to your precious parents and always just come home atleast for 2 or 1 day"

"Mom, you know I am busy , I have a company to handle and college to go" Jiang Shu spoke fiercely.

"Okay, okay don't be angry we won't force you"

Both mother and daughter were conversing at the same time as Jiang Ye strolled through staircases, creating his existence. Before Jiang Shu came, he was on the phone with the director of the company discussing the company's performance.

"Dear, you were late; our shu has been waiting for minutes," Jiang li stated, as Jiang ye sat at the dining table, facing Jiang shu.

"Ohh, sorry shu your dad has been busy recently"

"Busy with what?, keep an eye on me behind my back" Jiang Shu replied arrogantly.

"It's not like that"

"Ooh, then since you're really busy, then why would you call me for dinner?"

"Shu, why are you so cruel to your own parents"

After after he said, "let's not talk about this , first eat , the food are getting cold"

While they were all eating, the atmosphere seemed strangely frigid, like if someone had died.

After a minute Jiang ye said,"Our shu has getting older, it's look time to get married, and also you are in high position, so it will be difficult to find a suitable partner"

"But you don't have to worry your dad has already choosed a perfect partner for you , also you might've have know him he in the same college as you the eldest son of Kang family Ron"

"So what do you think, if you will agree then we would arrange your marriage next month"

Jiang Shu harshly replied, "I had your enough, now stop talking nonsense," just before Jiang Ye was going to say something further.

"father, just don't try to be good now , I now your selfish intention behind this marriage"

"And in the first place why would I agree to you, you are in no place to control me"

"Shu why are you talking cruelly to your father, I was just thinking about your future" stated jiang ye.

"Future you say , as if you don't know my sexual orientation that I like girls , and if you're so worried about me , so just free me" Jiang Shu spoke coldly.

"Shu now you're are going ahead, I will never expect you as a lesbian"

"And I said it in polite way , but it seems like you are not going to listen so I have to force you now for marriage" Jiang ye went on to say

"As if I would sit quietly"

"Dad just because of your selfish desire, i would never marry to that Ron and whoever and if you force me, then forget you had a daughter in our life, I am going to break off all my relationship with you and mother both"

"Okay, if you want to break off the relationship, then do so, but remember one thing while going,leaving that company, because it's not yours, I've built that," Jiang Ye stated

"Dad, seems like you forgot, that the company you are talking about was a small company when you handled it and it was almost on the verge of bankruptcy, but I came back from abroad and handle it , and now I have turned it to China's no.1 company,that you have never done in your whole life"

Jiang Ye's face was flushed with rage, and he was ready to stand up when Jiang Li remarked, "Please stop fighting you both, and eat quite, I want peace."

"Mom, I am done eating, i am going"

"Where ?"

"My lovely home"

"Shu why are you doing this, it's also your house you can atleast spend the night here and sleep in your room here"

"Please" Jiang Li insisted.

"Okay, but just for today"

Jiang Shu silently went upstairs and into her personal room on the left side.

Jiang Ye stated at the dining table, "Look at how arrogant that child was, as if she hadn't come into this world for us."

"Dear why are you forcing her for this marriage"

"Well I want a successor for the company and for that mr wang's son is best for this, and after the marriage shu can give birth to child, and it will have wang family's bloodline, and also we will have a successor and wang family's company in future" Jiang Ye spoke with selfish intentions.

"Dear , can't you think about your own child" Jiang Li said:

"You shut up , because of your negligence she has become this arrogant"

Jiang Shu took a bath in the room and was presently sleeping on the bed, staring at the ceiling. She wondered how cruel her father was to force her into marriage.

Jiang Shu remembered that when she was a youngster, she had a high fever and couldn't lift her body, but her father forcibly grasped her hand and took her inside the company to teach business practices.

Now that she thinks about it, her mother didn't do anything and just watched silently; during her life, her father never let her go and never let her do anything, even sending his own daughter abroad alone without any concern.

Jiang Shu's thoughts went blank as she reflected on all of this, and she became angry.

Just as she was falling asleep, she heard a knock on the door, which she opened to see her mother standing there with milk.

"Mom, now what ?"

"Can't I just come in my daughter room atleast"

"Okay come in"

"Drink this milk, it was warm as your taste," Jiang Li said as she handed Jiang Shu the milk.

Jiang Shu sipped silently, then handed her mother the empty glass.

"Shu I want to talk to you about your father" Jiang Li eventually stated it after a frigid moment.

"Okay, let's go in balcony and talk"

They both stepped into the room's balcony and stood there for a time, "Shu, as you know your father, anything in life he wants, he gets, and if he doesn't, he takes it forcefully." Jiang Li spoke anxiously.

"I know mom, what are you talking about"

"Shu, if you know, then please listen to your father's will."

"So, mom did you're also come here to force me or did that man send you to talk about this?"

"Nobody sent me here, I came by myself. Shu, you know your mother cares about you a lot, and if anything happens to you, I can't leave. So please, just listen to your father."

"Mom, I guess you are also not on my side. it looks like I have to seriously break off my relationship with everyone. It seems like no one really understands me," Jiang Shu spoke rudely.

"Shu, it's not like that. I'm not taking anybody's side. I am just here to suggest that you accept your father's decision."

Jiang Shu's face went blank, and she simply stared at her mother with bloodshot eyes.

"Okay, Shu, just don't look at me like that. If you don't want to get married to Ron, then just don't. But you have to marry someone else rather than Ron, and I will accept it even if it's a girl."

"I will give you just 1 month to decide,"

"And if you can't bring anyone to marry you in one month, then we have no choice but to force you to marry Ron," Jiang Li said.

"Okay, Mom, if you are willing to accept a girl as well, I will bring someone and marry her. Also, please tell Dad to stop keeping an eye on me, because I know he will definitely do something to prevent me from marrying a girl," Jiang Shu said.

"Shu, no one will stop you. Your dad and I have already talked about it, so please make a decision within one month."

"Okay, now I have to go. Your dad has been waiting. Good night."

After saying this, Jiang Li left the room, and Jiang Shu stood alone on the balcony, with the cold air hitting her body. She wondered where she would find a girl to marry within one month.
