Daniels pov

Its been two weeks since the incident, Stephanie got better the only thing left were the bruises on her head,honestly when she woke up her friends kept nagging her about how she kept alot of secrets from them but the only thing I found strange was that Sophie stopped talking to them.

I guess its none of my business,I also found out that the peeled banana was kept there on purpose which meant that the person knew that she was already coming up the stairs.

I know Stephanie is not the type of person that keeps grudges and the only person I suspect is Dolapo but as her classmate and close friend i know her she would never do such a thing,she can be sassy and bitchy but still she has a good side in her.

The day went by so fast and I didn't see Stephanie through out the day but I was rest assured she was in good hands

Dude watsup my friend asked??, are u still thinking about that girl he laughter,u better come of it,I chuckled you know me and duke have been friends since childhood before david joined us we we're In ss1 when he joined let's put that aside. Duke don't u think its strange?whats strange he asked? I sighed who do u think would want to hurt Stephanie i said he looked at me and said oh boy thats through OK that babe no dey look for trouble I laughed u and this your pidgin u can never change.

I and duke decided to investigate the issue because we knew that as long as the person who hurt her was still on the loose the same thing could still happen shit I said.

Dukes pov

I looked at my friend and smiled he had been worried about this girl lately i laughed it just that he wouldn't admit that he likes her because he knew we would use that against him yheap in our group d's we use our weakness against each other well just to joke around but Daniel is special we really respected him so much but since he is too stressed out lately I guess I shouldn't tell him about what David said to me

*Flashback*

David what is wrong with you, you have been acting strangely he looked at me with disgust and said ure all the same.

I looked at him and asked what do u mean, by this time I already knew he was drunk poor Daniel I can tell he is going through alot.

Oh shut up I don't need your pity why does everything have to revolve around that Daniel huh, why do u guys care about him so much huh what about me what am I to u guys a pawn I hate u guys,I hate daniel, I ha----- he didn't finish his words before he slept off.

I took him to his room and left some pills beside him because I knew he was going to have an hangover and besides I'm sure he would be sober by tomorrow morning.I thought.

Poor Daniel if only he knew I thought. Good night dan,good night duke he said yawning and with that we slept off.

Stephanie's pov

I was bombarded with questions when I woke up 😂 honestly I almost had an heart attack from the question they we're asking me so I told them everything and they have been supportive since then.

Its been two week since that incident Snr Daniel has been extremely nice to him well he asked me to call him Snr in public and daniel in private.☺️

my friends were acting strangely because whenever I asked for Sophie they always diverted my attention but I'll make sure I find out whats happening.

I decided to take a walk to the school yard that night but as I was walking I saw a movement so I decided to follow that person. I hid behind the bush so that I could see what the person was doing, he was talking to a woman, I have done what u asked me to do and she won't be singing for the next few weeks he said, what do you mean next few weeks I dont want her to sing for the rest of her life do what u must do she said, yhs mam the boy said I was surprised it was obvious they we're talking about me there was light in the school.the light now moved to where they we're and I saw the two of them I saw..... I'm heartbroken and in tears.
