The Girl He Never Met

I liked this girl. She's amazing and me and her had so much in common. She likes anime and is not like other mindless freaks who goes through life without even thinking about anything important. She was the girl I was waiting for. Oh..and by the way, I never actually see her face. .... He'd do anything for her. But was the girl he never met really the one?

He Loves a Dead Man

I returned home, feeling exhausted. I was so convinced we'd meet. But maybe I just need to try harder.

I lay on the bed, thinking for what seemed like an eternity, remembering your face. Tears welled up in my eyes. I screamed into my pillow. My heart was racing.

Immediately, I got out of bed and rushed towards my desk. I opened my laptop. I watched as your face stared back at me from the screen. I resumed my search, fingers tapping on the keyboard against the silence of my room.

I watched as a map popped up next to your information. "12th Apple Street"I muttered to myself, taking in the information. I recalled the picture of you fishing with your dad on Facebook. You forgot to censor the plate. But that's okay, I will tell you that.

I send a message request to you.

<Hi its me. You forgot to censor that plate on your car in this picture. I hope you stay safe.>

God, I'm terrible at this.

I went through your latest pictures.

I gritted my teeth , clenching my fists.

There were pictures of you with an arm around a guy. He was built, blonde and tall. He was probably much taller than me. He was like the embodiment of every jock in teenage movies. Jerseys, him with his basketball team. You by his side, celebrating his victory while he held his trophy.

My heart sank.

Don't worry, my neighbors wont even notice. My apartment could very well be a graveyard. Nobody cares. But when we meet, we could hang out at your place every day.

My hand clenched into a fist, punching the wall. I watched as a bit of blood trickled down.

I raised my other hand and touched my face, gently caressing my lips.

....

I drove around the neighborhood and it was very hard finding your home. Apparently, the map isn't that accurate. I drove up to a group of kids in the park. I rolled down the windows. The kids stared at me, eyes widened. One boy dropped a ball from his hands, shaking. They all took a step back.

"Hey, kids," I tried to soften my voice as much as possible. "Do you know where 12th Apple Street is?"

They all quickly pointed to the right.

I smiled.

Apparently, that was a wrong move.

"Jaws..".

The tallest kid said before he screamed, running away. The rest also screamed, following him.

I stared at my mirror inside the car, my teeth was crooked and the upper side seemed to have fangs.

I pursed my lips. This was my reality.

A yellow, two story house came into view. I saw you in a red dress, looking beautiful. The guy in the photo was there. From what I researched, you were having a party for a friend's birthday.

I got excited seeing you. My eyes marveled at the sight of you, remembering the days we were together.

I pulled up next to your house. I got out of my car, smiling. I was grinning from ear to ear.

Then, the man turned around to face me.

The minute he saw my face, he smiled widely.

You stared at my car, confused. Then , your eyes widened. You grabbed the man's hand.

"Derrick! He's here!" you sound alarmed, hiding behind him.

Why was this guy smiling when he saw me?

"I thought you were dead," he tilted his head. His smile never left his face.

I frowned, stopping in my tracks.

"I figured ," he chuckled. "You wont remember me anymore,".

My hands clenched into fists.

"Who are you?" I asked sharply.

The man turned towards you, holding your face in his disgusting hands.

"Baby, don't be scared. He's our guest,".

"What the heck are you talking about, Derick? This freak should not be allowed anywhere near me!"

My eyes widened. I opened my mouth, but no sound came out.

A loud sound followed.

You were grabbing your left cheek, in pain. You looked towards me, eyes filled with terror.

You need me. I was filled with joy.

I lunged towards him, raising my fists.

He grabbed both of them with ease, twisting my arms behind my back.

I cried in pain. He put his boot on my body.

I yelled, trying to shake him off. It felt like my arms were ripped apart.

"Now, baby, go inside. While me and my boy have a cup of tea,"
