First day in college

It was my first day in college. I had joined a little late. The reason being dad's sudden transfer to Forks. But I didn't bother much about it. I thought of the old memories with my close friends, while making my way in the corridor. I had never been an all popular girl in school. Instead I was the silent type with a small friend circle. But we always had our ways to enjoy. I was still lost in my memories when I bumped into the wall. I moved back and... Oh no! It wasn't the wall. But a boy. His body was like it had just been carved perfectly. Every thing was in proportion. His shirt was giving out a lot of the interiors. How can his girlfriend allow him to roam like this when the girls would drool over him? And it was not just the body. His face was just like a Greek God. Was I dreaming? But since when did my dreams seem so real? I pinched myself. Ouch! It hurt. No, it's not a dream. I don't know what had happened to me. I was just stuck on the ground studying his blue eyes when he walked past me. Okay, so he is very arrogant. Instead of apologizing he just went away. Fine, I get it that it was my fault but he could have at least asked if I was fine. And how stupid of me that I stood there like a dumb statue. I just acted like an idiot. 100 points to me for showing that I am an idiot on my very first day.

I went through the schedule. It was my Physics class. I quickly made my way to the class as it was just two minutes left for the lecture. I took the last seat to gather least attention. Even in school, I had always maintained a long distance between me and the stage. I was not comfortable with eyes prying over me.

The class went well. Fortunately, Professor Simmons didn't notice me, I guess. I started my way towards the exit when a hand held my shoulder. It was a girl with a cheerful face and small black eyes. "Hey! I'm Vanessa. I guess you're new here", she said with a smile on her face. " Yeah, I joined today. I'm Sarah. " I said lamely.

The day had been hectic for me compared to my recent activity for the past few days. I had been lying on my sofa watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. all day long. After having dinner, I lay on my bed thinking of what all happened today. But mostly his face kept coming in my mind. His dark blue eyes... But I wiped him quickly out of my mind. Somewhere I knew that boys like him would never be interested in me.
