Party Is Over
Tyler briskly walked down the hotel corridor as if he had tunnel vision. His mind was preoccupied with what Hugh Grant told him. His mother could miraculously walk again? How was that possible?
Tyler had ascertained through Chiron's Eye that Ruth's condition wasn't easily reversible. Even the most advanced surgery in the world couldn't fix her legs. Something only of the power scale of a chakra needle could heal her.
Natalie, who had been running away from Tyler, noticed him approaching from behind.
"I'm not talking to you!" she declared innocently, pouting like a little girl. "That was a cheap prank! Don't come near me, or I'll scream!"
However, Tyler didn't even notice the young woman on his path. He brushed past her and headed towards the exit.
Natalie was both embarrassed and intrigued by his behavior. What happened to him suddenly? He was in a happy, flirtatious mood a minute back.
