The Fruit and A Monkey

An hours before the sun is up Grid wake up everyone.

"Wake up everyone. We will eat our ration and should move now." (Grid)

"Ok" said everyone

We are moving with our original pace. I look around and found no monkey monster beast following us.

"Hmm.. seems like they do not active in the night huh" I thought

As we keep walking and the sun is up. I stare at it from between the forest tree and it's looks quite beautiful.

"What a sight. Sometime I kinda forget that I transmigrate into this World." I thouhgt

"Shrek.. shrek.." the monkey monster begin to show up one by one. But this time they are not following us. They just

pass us like they don't care about us.

"Hmm.. what happen ?" (Rudeus)

"It's fine guys. They just search for their food" said Grid from back

Then after a few minutes of walking, we found that there is a monkey who gather fruit in the tree and eat it. As I see it

from a far, It's like a berry fruit.

Many of the monkey beast pluck the fruit and begin to eat. There is a few kind of fruit. It depend on the color the way I

see it. Well the thing is I don't know what fruit is that. After all even though I transmigrate in this world for half a year,

there is only a few time that I eat a fruit.

"Grid can we take some fruit for us ?" (Darvan)

"Well I don't think it's a good idea. As you can see there is so many fruit but we don't even know which one can be eaten.

What's more it's better to not disturb them" (Grid)

"Well I think miss Elsiya know what fruit can be eaten. But yes, I agree with Grid. Let's just focus on our task" (Rudeus)

"Yes, it's right but let's just focus on our task" (Elsiya)

"Well alright then." said Darvan and he keep looking at the fruit in the tree.

Like yesterday, a few monkey monster keep following us but we just let them and just focus what we are doing.

When I though that everything is gonna fine and we will pass this area without much trouble something happen.

As we keep walking and almost pass this area, our team is stopped because a monkey come closer to us. Everyone is

raise their weapon and ready to fight if something happen.

"Keek.. keek. keek.." a few of monkey who follow us make a sound

"Wait." I stop them

"Rudeus" said Grid

"It's fine. lower just lower your weapon" I said to everyone. When I see the monkey come closer to us there isn't any

malice at all and it stop because we raise our weapon. That's why I stop them.

"Keek.. keek.. keek"

It seems like he want to told me something but I don't understand anything

"Lower your weapon guys." I said to them

Everyone look each other and then Grid nod to make everyone lower their weapon

As I said that, I walk closer to that monkey who stop us "It's fine.. it's fine.. I won't hurt you or anything." I talk to it and

raise my arm to make it look I won't do any harm

"Keek.. keek.. keek.." it says something to me

I stop for a moment and said "I'm sorry I don't understand what you told me but please I won't do any harm at all."

I keep talking to the monkey like he would understand my word. Everyone else just stare at me and ready if something

happen

As I getting closer to it, it make a few sound and then come to me. When we see each other I see the monkey monster

look different than the one who following us.

It smaller, have a white fur and have a red eyes.

"keek.. keek.. keek." and then he jump at me.

"Rudeus" said Grid and he ready his bow but I stop him

"It's fine Grid. See" I turn around and they see that the monkey stay in my shoulder.

"It's fine everyone. I don't know why it stop us but it shows no malice at all" I said to other

After that everyone getting closer to me.

"keek.. keek.. keek.." it said something

"It's fine.. it's fine.. they are my comrade. They won't hurt you like me" I look at it and speak to it while pointing my own

body

"Keek!! Keek!!" it shout to the monkey at the tree and then all the monkey who following us leave.

"Whoa.. thank you man" I speak to it

"Keek.." it answered

Everyone look at me weirdly so I think I must say something to them

"Well I don't know what happen too so don't ask me" I said to them and raise my shoulder

Everyone just keep staring at me.

"Keek.. keek.." it speak and point its hand towards something

"Huh.. what ? You want me to go there ?" I ask it. I don't know if it understand my word but it nods.

"Guys, seems like it want to show us something. So what do you think ?" (Rudeus)

Everyone just look at each other and then Grid said " I don't know Rudeus. I just afraid it is a trap. So I think it's better

for you choose. After all seems like it understand your words"

"Well, ok then" and then I speak to the monkey "So you want show me something right. Is it dangerous ?"

"Keek.. keek.." it keep pointing towards something

"Well alright guys, I think it's better to see it first." then everyone is nod

We walk toward the things that the monkey pointed at. Then after a few minutes of walking we found a cliff and there is

a cave in the cliff. It kinda high. The monkey then jump toward the cliff and started climbing.

"keek.. keek.." seems like it want us to follow him

"Seems like it want us to follow him to the cave." I said to everyone

"Keek.. kekk ??" the monkey jump to the ground again ask seems like to ask me what happen

Then I just talk to it "Well my friend. We can not follow you up there. This person can not follow us" I pointed at the two

girls.

I don't what happen but the monkey leading us at a different route.

"Keek.. keek.." said the monkey

I look at everyone and then just follow the monkey.

After a few moment of walking we arrive on top of the cliff. When I see it down seems like there is a route to the cave so

I said to everyone.

"There is a route to the cave. Let's walk and be careful" (Rudeus)

As we arrive in the cave I'm surprise. This cave is filled with fruit. Some of them is still fresh and some of them is

already begin to root.

"Is this your home ?" I speak to the monkey

"keek.. keek.." it nod a few times

"I see." (Rudeus)

"Keek.. keek" it pointed at the fruit

"seems like he let us eat the fruit guys, Let's try it" (Rudeus)

"Are you sure Rudeus ? What if the fruit is poisonous ?" (Darvan)

"First, we have miss Elsiya so it should be fine. Second, do you think it will bring the thing it can't eat ?" (Rudeus)

"What mr Rudeus said is right mr Darvan. I already check it. Seems like there is nothing in here is poisonous fruit but of

course we still need be careful" add miss Elsiya

"Well alright then, let's try it" (Grid)

Everyone take some of the fruit and begin to eat.

"Damn this is delicious" said Darvan with a surprise voice

"Yeah, this is really delicious" add miss Velma

"Keek.. keek" seems like the monkey is happy too

The monkey come close to me and he speak something "keek.. keek"

It said something with a low voice

"What up my friend ? Is something happen ?" I said to the monkey

"Keek.. keek.." it pointed at something

"Well alright let me see it. If there is something I can do I will help you." I get up and then follow it

"Rudeus" said Grid

"It's fine Grid. Don't worry. Just wait a bit. Seems like it want to show me something" I make an ok sign

"Be careful" (Grid)

I nod at Grid and then follow the monkey. When I arrive inside, I see another monkey lay down and almost dying

The monkey walk closer to the one who a sleep and then said "keek.. keek"

I walk closer to it and see there is severely injuries in the body of the monkey.

I stare at the monkey and then said "You bring me to your place to help you heal it ?"

"Keek.. keek"

"I see. Who is it ?" I ask him and then he just answer "keek.. keek.." while pointing at himself

"Your mother huh" I said it to the monkey

"Keek.. keek" it nods at me.

I stare at it a then thought "Seems like even a monster beast have a feeling huh"

"Ok I will try help you buddy. Don't worry" I make an ok sign and then the monkey is feeling the hope

"Keek.. keek.. keek.." it seems really happy someone want to help him
