Marcel pov:

"Let's rest up for tonight." This seemed to have caught their attention as they all quickly sat down.

"Should we start a fire?" Reiner asked me.

I thought for a second. "Yes. Each of us split up and bring firewood. If you need to defend yourself, use your titan."

"Ok" they all answered back.

(Mini time skip)

Y/n pov:

We had all collected enough firewood to last us the night. I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Something felt off.

I decided to just ignore it. "Annie!" I shouted to her. "Can I sleep next to you pleasee" I held the 'e' because I knew she couldn't refuse.

Hehe it always work.

"Sure, whatever" I silently praise my excellent skills.

"Bertholt did you get what I asked" brother said to Bert.

"Yessir" He had a huge fish. It wasn't a normal sized one. I could've lasted me a week.

"Holy mother of Ymir why is that thing so big." I was shocked at its size.

They all looked at me like I was overreacting. Maybe a little but still, fishes never get that big in Marley.

Marcel took the fish from Bertholt and placed it over the fire.

Once it was cooked, we all had a part of it. Not to my surprise, we had almost finished it as there was a little left than a quarter.

I had drifted off to sleep but I could faintly hear the rest of my friends talking.

Marcel calmly brushed my (h/l)( h/c) hair with his fingers. I knew he was worried about me but he doesn't realize that I am worried for him too.

The next Morning

I was the first one awake out of our little group. Deciding not to annoy anyone by waking them, I had a look round the area where we were.

'Why was the ground shaking' I thought to myself.

"Marcel!" I shouted. He must have heard me because he began sprinting to me. He picked me up by my waist and grabbed the supplies. The others were now awake too.

Annie transformed into the female titan and ran whilst we sat on her shoulder.

I looked in the distance of where we were. Three titans were ripping our blankets up.

If I hadn't woken up when I did, we would all have been eaten.

Once we were far enough away, Annie released herself from her titan and hugged me.

"Y/n you stupid idiot. What if u were killed?! Be careful" I could tell she was angry.

I just looked at the floor. She understood what I meant and apolized. "Sorry Annie. I was the first awake and didn't want to wake any of you up."

She just hugged me again.

I looked over the Reiner panicking. "Reiner look out" Annie shouted towards him.

A titan had emerged from the ground. As if it had been waiting for us.

My brother was running towards reiner as if to push him out of the way. Luckily he managed to free Reiner from almost certain death.

"Big brother!"
