She knew it

Asmita is so furious that Matteo chose to go with Agni and not to listen to her so she complains to Andre,

Asmita: " this is just not fair at all! who does Zara think she is to do this. She asked an engaged man to go out with her in the name of friendship! "

Andre:" stop it Asmi! you are getting this all wrong, he is an adult so he can choose who to be with"

Asmita: " and the person she chose is me but that Zara is forcing herself on him! I can't take, I just can't take it anymore! "

Andre: " calm down Asmi you are stressing yourself over nothing serious "

Asmita: " she called him to wish Mike a happy birthday, as if that wasn't enough, she asked him out"

Andre: " well what do you expect Asmi, you claim to love Mike but you don't even know his birthday! "

Asmita: " we picked him up so you won't expect me to know such! I feel like killing her with my bear hands! I'll kill Zara! "

Agni goes to the park and sets up the picnic table while waiting for Matteo. He arrives and they seat to eat and talk. Agni takes the risk to ask Matteo and tell him the truth,

Agni: " so how are you feeling now Mike"

Matteo: " I feel good and confused at times, how then did you know that today is my birthday and Asmita knew nothing about it"

Agni: " Mike? tell me something, what am about to tell you now,will you trust me?"

Matteo: " why not Zara? "

Agni: " you have to make a promise that you'll trust me"

Matteo: " I trust you completely Zara, tell me what you want to "

Agni: " do you perhaps have a lot of questions about yourself, who you are or maybe witness some strange things or even feelings "

Matteo: " that's strange, I do most of the times but all of a sudden, I just forget"

Agni:" wait a minute, sorry for crossing the line but what do you mean?"

Matteo: " I force myself to remember things when I start seeing the images but then I forget what I was seeing. Zara? its really confusing "

Agni: " this is indeed so confusing, but have you visited the doctor? "

Matteo: " yes I have so many times but they don't give a proper explanation. They tell me its stress"

Agni: " that's not true Mike, not stress but memory loss. You are not Mike but Matteo my cousin, I didn't how or why you lost it but that's the truth"

Matteo: " why are discussing this now Zara?"

Agni: " give me some time,put a little trust and faith in me just for a while and I'll help clear your doubts"

Matteo: " we've been friends Zara so am going to trust you, shall we take a walk around the park"

Agni: " just don't tell Asmita yet as you are well aware she doesn't like me. Let's go"

The two cousins spend some quality time together before they go back to their homes. Matteo gets home to a whole lot of drama from Asmita,

Asmita: " where have you been all day Mike? "

Matteo: " this is a silly question Asmi I went out with Zara"

Asmita begins crying to gain sympathy from Matteo and make him feel guilty,

Asmita: " why are you treating me this way Mike? I've been waiting for you all day so we can have dinner to celebrate your day but you shut me out like that!"

Matteo: " am sorry Asmi I didn't know about that,we can have dinner now"

Asmita: " it's too late so stop pretending! the night"

Matteo: " am sorry Asmi, don't get angry at me,give me the gift you bought "

Asmita takes the gift she bought and hands it over to Matteo and they reconcile. Jaden calls Agni over the phone to ask how the meeting went,

Jaden: " did we progress Agni "

Agni; " we are close,I need you to do me a favor though,tomorrow is Saturday hence there is no work so come over to my house, we'll discuss"

After the weekend, Matteo resumes for work and the managing director gives him the office outfit. After work hours are over he returns home. Asmita takes his jacket to clean it. She is still upset about Zara and decides to do something despicable,

Asmita: " I still can't get over the fact that Matteo chose to go with Zara, but what I'll do,even Zara will wish she never came to this town. Soon and very soon,the worst will happen"

Asmita calls a certain man to the house and discusses something with him concerning Agni. As he is leaving, Andrea questions his identity but she gives an excuse addressing him as a plumber. Nikita and Fred go to visit a friend of theirs leaving Agni all alone. The man Asmi hired for the job comes to the house,

Agni: " who are you and what are doing here?"

Man:" your mother asked me to come over here to fix the bathroom tap"

Agni: " I'll call mom to confirm..."

Man:" no need for that she sent me here herself"

Agni: " fine then,come in"

Asmita calls Nikita to and tells a lie against Agni,

Asmita: " aunt Niki something terrible just happened "

Nikita: " calm down and explain everything "

Asmita: " a friend of mine just called to inform me that a strange man entered the house, are you home"

Nikita: " no...no but I'll go there immediately "

Nikita and Fred go back home quickly. Not wanting to miss the drama, Asmita also drives to Agni's house. While Agni is in the bathroom,the strange man enters her room to add sedative to her juice. Agni sends him to check the kitchen tap and she spills the juice. Jaden ambushes the man and ties him up with the help of Agni. The family get home and find Agni safe with Jay, Nikita hugs Agni and is relieved to see her safe. She now asks Asmita some serious questions,

Nikita: " Asmita called me and told me you where in serious danger"

Agni: " am fine mom,I was here with Jaden so am fine"

Nikita: " but Asmita how did you know that this man came to our house or he's dangerous "

Asmita: " aunt a friend of mine leaves in this neighborhood, she saw the man looked suspicious and called me,I told you "

Nikita: " yes yes,where is the man now"

Jaden brings the man and forces him to speak the truth which he does only halfway,

Man:" a certain woman paid me to tarnish Zara's dignity by forcing myself on her"

Jaden hits the man out of anger and for accepting to carry out a shameful act. Agni calls the police and they arrest the man. Asmita gets home but is still meant on ruining Agni's life.
