Winning Against All Odds

Everyone was suddenly blinded by a bright light and even their hearing was impaired, and when all of them finally regained their vision and hearing, what they saw made some of them even fall to the ground out of shock. What they were seeing felt like it was only possible in a dream, there they saw Damian who was kneeling on the ground, and Yuki who was behind her aiming the gun at his head.

"You can surrender now, Instructor Damian, and give me a full score to save you from any embarrassment. You are still free to try to defeat me though, that is if you can~" Yuki said with an evil grin on her face as her touch with Guns still hadn't dropped, she was still very good at it as it seemed. She had initially thought that she would be a little sluggish or even weaker than normal because it had already been such a long time since she had fought using Guns.

"Surrender? HAHAHAHAH! That is funny, I'm not that easy to defeat you know, I wouldn't be an Instructor if anyone could easily defeat me." Damian laughed and when Yuki heard this, she didn't hesitate to jump back before turning back to her Rifle and shooting at him without any hesitation.

"Where are you aiming, why can't you hit me now? Just a few moments ago you were so arrogant because you were winning, but now you can't even hit me?" Damian laughed as he easily struck every bullet of Yuki to her shock, those bullets were close to breaking the sound barrier due to how fast they were, but somehow Damian could still see them and even deflect all of them.

But instead of getting scared at this, she only smiled behind her mask as she finally felt the adrenaline in her blood boiling, this was the fight that she wanted, the sheer thrill. Not the boring fight where she doesn't even feel any danger, there was no thrill if there was no such thing.

When everyone saw the shift in the fight, all of them couldn't help but suck in cold air. The intense killing intent was too much for them that they even thought that the two were not sparring anymore and they were ready to kill the other one. Even Leah who has already experienced what it was like to see how Yuki killed one of her comrades also couldn't help but shiver in fear as it seemed that what she saw wasn't even the tip of the iceberg just yet.

As the fight lasted longer, the more intense it got, and to everyone's shock once more, Yuki was still holding her own against Damian who had finally used his full strength against her. Some of them could even say that she was fighting at the same level as her which was just the most unbelievable thing that they have ever seen, because from what they could see, Yuki was younger than Damian.

But for Leah, she felt that there was still something that was holding Yuki back, but she didn't want to say it aloud because she was afraid that she was wrong. But she also knows that she was just lying to herself because she knows deep inside that Yuki is still not going all out in this fight, she is afraid of the truth that is right in front of her.

Yuki who just backed away found herself trapped between the walls behind her that Damian had set up, she chuckled at this because she initially thought that Magic was forbidden, but it seemed that she was wrong. So without saying anything, she slung her Rifle on her back before taking out her Shotgun from the side.

"Come on now, why are you just standing there!? Come at me!" Damian yelled as he jumped towards Yuki and as soon as he was close to her, Yuki shot her Shotgun at him, and he was surprised to see that there were more than a hundred bullets coming at him. He thought that the gun that was in her hands was the same one that she had been using before, but he was wrong.

Because of this, he needed to jump back away, but it was already too late as almost all of the bullets landed on his body. Seeing this, he stood way farther back, afraid that he would actually lose if he got hit by that gun once more, the damage that it dealt to his body was too concerning for him, as even with his armor, it still pierced it. He also felt that it was at least 10X stronger than the previous one that she used.

But before he could even take a rest, Yuki was already charging herself against him, and before he could react, the gun was already aiming at his head. Due to his reflexes, he was able to dodge it in time, but he wasn't left unscathed from it. That one shot alone took his entire ear and blood immediately began to pour like crazy.

"Where are you looking at, Instructor Damian? I thought having so much experience would teach you that you should never look away from your opponent, but it seems that is all a lie." Yuki laughed as she appeared behind Damian before shooting her shotgun without mercy at his back.

When she pulled the trigger everyone gasped in shock as they were seeing something that they would have never dreamt to happen. Instructor Damian was going to lose in a spar against a Junior. Just like that, they saw a gaping hole appear right in front of Instructor Damian's stomach and some of them who didn't have strong stomachs needed to look away as the scene proved that it was too much for them.

"I'll take it that as a win." Yuki merely laughed as she wasn't even concerned that she almost killed Instructor Damian and this sent shivers down everyone's spine. Even with all of the blood was that spilling, she remained extremely clean, and somehow she was looking more ethereal than ever.

"Yeah…you definitely pass. Though I can't say that I already expected it, I didn't expect to have the fight so one-sided. You were still holding in your power, right? I saw your performance and I believe that if you truly wish to, you can fight even stronger than this." Damian said softly and just like that, all of the wounds that were on his body began healing at a rapid pace.

Everyone who saw this was not even shocked as it was the trait of being a Vampire their regen capabilities were the best out of all Races out there.

"Perfect grade, that is the Grade that you should get. All of your moves were simply flawless. I can't even say that you need to change something." Damian chuckled as he finished recording Yuki's Test scores.
