Chapter 1: The New World

After my death, I'm sinking in the sea of nowhere. Where everything is quiet, a darker place, and there is no sign of any creature beside me.

But everything changes until I hear the creator's voice.

"You will be reincarnated again and go to serve my world again and bring back the peace that is being ruined because of Michael," he said.

I'm starting to feel hope after the creator told me about his plan for me.

"How am I going to show all of the creatures that I'm the former Demon Lord in their world?" I replied to the creator.

"I can't tell you yet, but I know you can manage this." The creator replied to my question.

I feel a little bit discouraged about the Creator's reply, but I'm sure that I can manage this and will bring back the peace I wanted to achieve in my previous life.

After the creator replied, a ray of light suddenly appeared in my eyes with the loud sound of a woman giving birth, and after a minute, there was the sound of a baby crying.

"The baby is safely released," was said by an unknown person.

A loud sound suddenly appears, the sound of a couple who are happy about their childbirth.

-10 Months Later-

After many months of talking in my mind, I can now see in my eyes. I was born as a normal person to a normal couple. My mother's name is Anatasia Morningstar, and my father's name is Arc Morningstar. And I'm being named Lucifer Morningstar.

Five years later, I can walk on my own now. After 5 years of living as Lucifer Morningstar, I learned many things. My parents are from the demon race, a unique race that can be counted as the last ancestor of the former Demon Lord (or my own kind.)

But, after 100,000 years, everything is changing, and the world I'm creating, where everyone used to help each other, is now full of enemies. It's because they believed the demon lord's reincarnation was in their race, and they wanted to be privileged if the demon lord reclaimed his throne.

The Demon Races became neutral about the situation and didn't choose any kind of race, but the other races made their own places and pseudo-kings. The 3 biggest races right now are humans, elves,and demons. The next is Angels,Spirits,and Demi-Humans.

But these 3 get discriminated against by the other races, especially the angels, because their former leader "Michael" is the one who ruined the peace of the world.

The spirits get discriminated against because they can't know where my soul is going to be reincarnated and the other races think that they keep my soul, so at the time of my reincarnation, my soul goes to the race of the spirits.

Meanwhile, the demi-humans are getting discriminated against because they make their own world too. They can live between humans or demons where they are accepted by those races, but because of "Behemoth", my former servant who helped the Demi-Human races decide to leave the human and demon races and make their own, they get heated by these two races and call them traitors.

Everything is changing, and the world of peace I created for many years is being totally ruined because of their selfishness. And the only way to prove that I'm the Former Demon Lord is to participate in the contest for all of the races, "The Demon Lord Revival." I need to join the "Demon Lord Academy" and become a participant in the upcoming contest and win so I can bring peace to the world once again.
