Chapter 41: The Threat
Liliana's POV
One of the women from the coven had been designated as the communicator. She and Liliana stayed in daily contact. Unfortunately, it was discovered that Darick had taken off. It wasn't clear where he had gone to because he just never showed up at his next meeting.
"There are Vampyre hunters known to us; however, the danger of using one cannot be ignored. I need you to understand that it will open you up to grave danger."
"What do you mean? Who are these hunters?"
Putting the phone back down on her desk, Liliana rubbed her hands softly over her growing abdomen. She had always been a full-figured woman that exercised. Now, the fullness of her figure was more curvaceous and exotic. Yet, there wasn't an inch of skin that had not been touched with the glow of pregnancy.
