Reunion and Plan

Frey and the party arrive back at the palace. The Princess and Reis are waiting in the throne room smiling looking at the group scanning all the faces. Where Steven? Elis asks. I'm afraid he wasn't able to return with us. Frey says. Well where is he Frey? Id like to get on to another job as soon as possible. Reis asks. I'm afraid the young lad fell into the abyss fighting a monster.What? You had one job to keep my apprentice alive and you failed. I knew I shouldn't have let him go. This is all your fault Frey thinking he's ready for a quest this dangerous. Reis says. Hey Now Frey couldn't have known the boy would be knocked into the abyss. You're judging him unfairly here! Baldur says. No, I'm afraid it's my fault I sent them on the mission to the abyss. Elis says. I agree with that statement. If Steven is not here then I'm leaving. Reis says and begins to leave the room. Frey follows after her. Leave me alone Frey. i'll speak with you when I'm ready. Reis says. Two guards go rushing past the two of them. Lady Elis a dragon has been sighted coming toward the town. What? There hasn't been a dragon sighting in over 500 years. Muramasa says. Quick to the roof. Elis says and waves for them all to follow.         They head up to the roof and see the dragon heading their way. The archers take aim. Hold your fire. We don't know what it wants. Best to not start a fight we won't win. Elis says. The dragon Approaches the group on the roof. He lands behind them. The archers still aimed on him. They see Steven hop off of him. I thought he was dead? Elis says as she turns to Frey stunned. No he fell into the abyss, and it appears he found a dragon along the way and escaped. Frey responds. Reis walks over to Steven and starts looking him up and down. Well you appear to be in one piece. She looks at Zarongaru and the sword he pulled out of the dragon. New swords I see. She says. Yeah I got one from the lady in the abyss it's pretty cool. Steven says with a smile. And the other was impaled into this poor guy. He adds. Lady in the abyss do you mean the titan Astora? Frey asks as he comes up to them. Yeah, that's her. Steven responds. You spoke with her and traversed the abyss all while maintaining your sanity. That's impressive my boy. You may yet have the makings of a great hero. Frey says jokingly as he wraps his arms around his shoulder. So about the dragon? Frey asks. Oh well you see the princess is right about what she believes. I saved the dragon from two demons that called themselves Dark Drakon and Lord Rion. Steven says. Everyone on the roof freezes and looks at Steven. Are you sure? Reis says. The dragon turns to them. Yes the two demon lords have returned. They were using my energy to regenerate Dark Drakon as for how Rion came back I do not know. The dragon says. Oh great dragon this is terrible news. Elis says as she comes up to him. Can you tell me more about them? Do you know their plan or anything that might aid us in stopping them? Elis asks. I'm afraid I do not know anything princess. I was immobilized by the Holy sword Chaos Eater. He responds. Steven draws out the sword. So that's what this is? He looks it up and down. Yet another of the great holy swords you can wield huh Steven. Reis says. It's a holy sword? I'd never known I just pulled it out to save this guy. Steven points at the dragon. Hm well I think it's best if we assemble in the war room with my generals and hopefully my brother will be here soon so we can have more fighters. This is going to be a very tough fight. Can I count on you all to help? Elis says and turns to the group. Me and my brother can simply walk away now so we will stay. Baldur says. I'm always looking for a good fight. Muramasa says. Good now let's go to the war room. Elis leaves the roof and the others follow her. Wait Steve. I'm glad you're ok, I was worried the worst happened when Frey said you fell into the abyss. Reis says. Yeah I guess I'm tougher than I appear. Steven responds. Lets go i have a feeling we're gonna be needed to take on these demons. He adds. You're getting more gutsy. Reis says and they follow the others. 

They gather around a table with a map of the area. Elis is now cladded in her armor. Five men in heavy armor flank her. Everyone in this room is aware of the situation so i will get to the point. Two of the great demon lords have returned and as of now we know their strong hold is here. She points to where Steven came from. We can only assume that there is a mix of enemy troops from the report Steven gave us on what he saw. Some humans, monsters and demons. I will send a message to the elves hopefully they will join us. We are going to need their help. She finishes then the door opens up and a man with black armor and a mage comes walking in. The knights next to Elis bows. He walks up to the table and looks at Steven. So is this the young boy who went through hell to bring us this information? He asked. Yes brother he is. Elis responds. He doesn't look strong. But I guess he's got good magical abilities to survive the abyss and wield two holy swords. He looks at Frey. Where did you find this one old friend? He asked. Oh I can't take credit for him, he's all Reis. Frey says. He turns to look at her and gives her a smile and head nod. So now we know where they are, who they are and their plans. The question is how are we gonna stop them. Well I believe that part is actually easier than any of us realize. He looks right at Steven and points at him. You are gonna have to be the one to kill the Demon lords. You have the Holy swords and clearly the god chose you to be our hero. It's the only explanation on why you can wield them and why you were able to traverse the abyss. So you and I will go to the elves and get their support. Also your dragon will make the trip much faster than horses. He says. Will it just be the two of you brother? Elis asks. Yeah, in the meantime you get our forces ready to attack. We will join you before we commence. He replies. I'm going with you two. Reis says. Why do you need to come? David asks. Because last time I let this kid out of my sight he fell into the abyss which should have killed him. Then he runs into not one but two of the great demons. Someone has to keep an eye on him and I doubt the wandering prince is reliable for that. She exclaimed. Well you have me their Reis. Fine you can come with us. Toa stay here and help Elis with anything she might need. David says. The girl next to him nods her head. Then let's make haste and head for the elf kingdom. I'm sure old Val will be happy to see us. David says and leaves the room. Steven and Reis follow him.
