My heart was thundering as I was jolted awake, covering my mouth as I felt the bile rising. I stumbled out of my bed and down the hall, barely making it to the bathroom in time. I knew it had to be midafternoon but all I could see in my vision was red.
That memory... It was awful. The screams, the sounds, the faces of the deities. I could only feel Cerviel's emotions since it was obviously her memories I was experienced, but I could see the horror on the others. Ambrose and Adam were both crying as they cling to each other, and Anfalen armed just as shocked and rooted as Cerviel.
The worst part though, was seeing the True demons and their reluctance. The moment the screaming started, they started to move uncertainly, as if they no longer what to participate. Their hands were tied just like the deities, and their dark tears made the whole seen worse. It was crazy to think this beautiful green world was once so red and black, just meant to feed from.
