"Janessa? Are you okay?"
Delvin asked, afraid for her state when she was hugging herself, sitting back on the rock with tears blurring her eyes.
Blinking, she quickly cleared her eyes and returned a feeble smile so he won't be vexed about her.
"Huh? Ye- yeah, just… didn't think I would see this place again," She smiled.
Waving her hand, gesturing to him to be relaxed since he had already lost his sister and she didn't want to bother him with her agony.
She wanted him to mourn in peace.
But, how could he when he found her distressed too.
"Been more than a year now, I wonder if their bodies will be or just burned along with the village," She exhaled in disappointment.
The journey, the time she spent with them almost made her forget where she emerged.
