Even for the standards of city life, this is a very upscale residential neighborhood. Alex had a preexisting familiarity with some aspects of this location prior to his arrival here. He was aware that the majority of the people who lived in this neighborhood were employed by a variety of scientific research institutions or government agencies, or were people who held leadership positions in various social institutions. Those who are fortunate enough to be able to call the city of life their home are among the most accomplished members of humankind; as a result, residents of this community are of an inherently higher caliber.
