John flipped the pen in between his thumb and index finger. It was an accurate flip and with such an accuracy, he knew if he had a target, then he surely wouldn't miss.
He was half-heartily listening to the man speaking in front of him, just across the desk dividing both seats. Most of the words the man was saying wasn't something that intrigued him. This was because it all had to do with sales and mass production of their soon-to-be launched product.
What he needed to know was if they were still at the top of the game. To know if their rivals were catching up with them or not. The rest should be handled by the man as that was why he had hired him to be the director of the company operations.
Through his expression, he made it known that he wasn't at all interested in the conversation. Certainly the man would have caught his expression but the man would know better not to say anything. He would simply have to act like he wasn't seeing him do that.
