As soon as I turned around, I was left baffled as my eyes landed on her.

She was sitting in the corner-most table in the same row as mine. For a second there, my mind went numb as our eyes met. Her heterochromic eyes always had their own charm which wouldn't let my gaze stray away. But to my bad, it only lasted for a couple of seconds before she trailed her eyes off. 

I continued to look at her, hoping that she would look up once again even if it was only for a couple of seconds more, but she didn't. Her face was devoid of any emotions, just like an empty canvas, not giving her thoughts away. Only she could tell me what was going through her mind after last night, yet she took that chance away from me.
