Chapter Thirty

Andreas was waiting for Roselyn in front of the restaurant. He was wearing a suit and was looking so charming that when she noticed him, her heart started to race.

She was feeling a weird sensation on her stomach.

When his gazed falled on her, he waved smiling.

"Hi"

She blushed, murmuring in low voice.

"Wow. You're so beautiful."

He admitted looking down her dress as his pupils dilated.

"Really. you're unbelievable beautiful."

He whispered making Roselyn giggled, covering her mounth shyly.

He seemed so honest and at every compliment he made, a beat her heart was skipping.

"You dressed up!"

Roselyn exclaimed, pointing at his suit.

He nodded leaning in to wishper:

"I had to be good enough to my lady."

Roselyn smiled at his statement.

"Stop you're embarassing me!"

She complained as she brushed once again.

"Are you ready?"

Roselyn nodded.

When they walked in the restaurant, the waiter made them sit on a table for two.

The table was floating, she was surprised to see how the flowers on it were remaining perfectly still.

Her glace falled on the floating chair. Her brows knitted in a frown trying to figure out how she could be able to sit there.

He giggled, laying a hand on Roselyn's chair as it gently inclinated, allowing her to sit down.

He then walked to his chair and sat down in front of her.

A bizzare creature which seemed like a mixture of a parrot but way tinier, flied toward them emanating rainbow sparks from its wings.

"Welcome Enchantress and Master. I hope you'll have a great time in our restaurant!"

The creature spoke making Roselyn stare in awe. It lied down on the table two menus with his beak.

He then, proceed to flew to another table.

"I will never get used to all this."

She admits, shaking her head, giggling.

"I hope you do."

He said, smiling lightly.

They remained silent just staring at each other.

"I suggest you the pumpkin risotto, it's very good."

He finally spoke pointing at the menu.

Roselyn nods, opening the menu and starting to fold throughtout the pages.

"I heard that you don't usually date."

Roselyn said looking at him from the corner of her eye.

His brows bumped together in a scowl, yet his gaze remained on the menu.

"Also, I'd reccomend the dish of the day."

He stated.

"I guess I'll pick the risotto."

Roselyn noted and in few seconds the dish appeared on the table making her jolt.

"Sorry, I forgot to mention that."

He half smiled.

"Steak with on the side peas and potatoes."

He exclaimed and in a sudden the dish appeared in front of him.

"So you've always lived in the Otherworld?"

Roselyn asked.

"I was born on the Earth when nobody was awere that magic existed and feared any magical creature. My parents were both killed by hunters, Margaret then saved me and brought me here. She helped me to develop my powers and we together created the school."

Roselyn stared at him interested, nodding.

"Don't you ever wish to be normal?"

She questioned.

"No, I don't. Do you?"

Roselyn lowered her gaze, part of her wished she was normal, but then another part of her was starting to learn and like that world.

"But being normal means that your parents would still be alive."

Roselyn said in a low tone of voice as unsure if she should have asked that.

"I know, but that would mean to change who I am and my faith. Things happen because they are supposed to happen."

Roselyn remained quite.

"I won't change what I am for anybody or anything in the world."

He said, staring at her.

She nodded, realizing he wasn't only reffering to his magic nature now.

Maybe he meant something deeper.

Maybe Karen was right, he was just playing with his feelings.

"Roselyn, I like to be with you. But I really hope you don't aspect me to hold your hand in pubblic going to the move or make you meet my friends because that's no.."

"Then why did you asked me out?"

Roselyn talked over lightly raising her voice.

He cleared his voice.

"I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea."

He murmured.

Rose takes the remaining bites left.

"Okay."

She said after a long silence.

He half smiled but she hand gestured him to wait. She finished her meal and cleaned up her mounth with a towel.

"But I don't want you to have anyone else. Just me."

She said, raising her eyebrow in a challenging look.

He smirked as he tilted her head to one side.

"That would still be dating."

"Also a date in a restaurant would be dating."

He chuckled, raising his hands in sign he gave up.

"Fine"

He said, snorting.

Roselyn stretched out her hand.

He raised an eyebrow as unsure whether to shake it or not.
