The Empire- Chapter 18~ The Amazing Rona Reyes.

~P.O.V-Rona

If having 5 kids, running a school, and running a crime organization alongside my husband isn't enough to stress any woman out, I have a missing children's case on my shoulders. This case had to be solved fast as the longer it went on the more likely it would be for the police to find out who I am. My school has been shut down for two weeks now and it was shaking things up for me. Parents are doubting the school, others have straight up removed their kids from the school. This was causing such a steer. I hated it, nothing was going my way. After having a meeting with the school staff, I headed home. Upon reaching my house I noticed that 3 of my kids were not home. Calvin and Sonya were playing some games upstairs and the rest we gone. Meleke might be babysitting some kids but as for Jinx and Caleb, I had no idea. You'd that they'd be home training or something but no those aren't my kids at all. Yes, my children knew about Reyes De La Mafia. All my children have been training since they were little. In all the art forms and fighting forms. Once they are 5years old they are allowed to pick one aspect to focus on and become more efficient in. Jinx chose the human body and brain and that is how she's a master in manipulating her way out of everything. She also knows the weak points of the human body making her an incredible spy. Sonya chose electronics and computing, my baby girl can hack into any device on the planet, create viruses that can bring down large companies and so much more. Meleke my dearest chose weapons. She can disarm any bomb in less than 2 mins and can master a riffle or gun given to her. She can set nuclear bombs that can wipe out entire cities, a real force to be reckoned with. Sadly they are not the heirs to the Reyes De La Mafia their brothers are. The council saw it was unfit to have women lead a mafia that has spun on for centuries, controlling world leaders and having power beyond imagination. Thus they refused the idea of my girls ever leading. My husband has tried over and over and over again through the years and they still refuse to let them be. You'd think my husband and I ruling we'd have enough power to choose our heirs but no.

I first called Meleke and as I thought she was babysitting some kids. Then I called my thirteen-year-old son Caleb and he told me that he was out with my husband his dad. At least he wasn't alone. So proceeded to call Jinx my eldest daughter and she didn't answer the phone just as expected. I called her 3 more times and yet with no answer, so I decided to track her as all my children had trackers on them. One of their phones and another in their teeth which could not get damaged unless the tooth itself was extracted or they somehow exploded the head of the human. Which was very unlikely. Before rushing into anything I called both Sonya and Calvin asking the whereabouts of their elder sister and as expected they didn't know squat. Called my husband and Meleke still nothing. Tracked Jinx to a house not far from ours and just took my bicycle there. Arrived in front of a gorgeous building still lesser than ours but amazing. Rang the doorbell and asked for my daughter claiming who I am I was allowed in. Asked to see my daughter and they called her for me. Jinx arrived there in 5 minutes, beaming with Joy she said "Mama what are you doing here?" "Just looking for my missing daughter", I said sarcastically. She laughed and then said "Mama I'm sorry I forgot to tell you about my whereabouts. I'm doing my friend's mother's makeup. She asked me to interview her. She wants to promote her new makeup line on my youtube channel. I'm sorry". I couldn't get mad at her for following her passion. My baby girl was a social media influencer who dabbled in a little bit of everything, from makeup and lifestyle videos to writing novels. She was amazing always following her passions and just being herself all while helping out in the mafia. Her dad and I both rejected the idea of our daughter being on social media and neglecting her other duties but she proved us wrong. Making us seem like a normal family through her vlogs and stuff and also busting our popularity. It was beneficial and a good source of income making her depend on us less even at the ripe age of 15. After telling me everything that had happened she called to meet the lady who was taking up her time as well as being part of the video, the whole experience was bliss and I'd love to do it again well not losing my daughter part.
