Wake Up

Arren watched Spade sleep for about an hour, observing his condition and even occasionally touching his forehead as he embraced the alpha. Fortunately, Spade really slept peacefully this time and did not just close his eyes. 

He stayed like that because he was still guarding against something unexpected. Arren wasn't sure if the alpha could also have a nightmare during his fever, as he always did, especially with the problems that were in Spade's mind. 

Only after an hour, when the alpha was really only sleeping, could Arren finally sigh in relief. However, he also wasn't sleepy yet. He decided to bring back the plates first in the kitchen after making sure that Spade was still sleeping soundly. 

Arren successfully got up from the bed without waking up the alpha, and with the tray in his hand, he left the room and hurriedly made his way to the kitchen.
