chapter 3 the factions of this world

as we interrogate the kight we found out there are 14 factions in the world of Atlas that has the most strength are labeled by numbers.

1: the empire of Atlas.

2: imperial empire.

3: hero clan.

4: the theocracy Church.

5: mercenary guild

6: slaver guild

7: lizard Man clan.

8: elf kingdom.

9: dark elf kingdom.

10: adventurers guild.

11:assassin's guild.

12: dwarf clan.

13: merchants guild

14: holy kingdom.

as the kight gave these names each one of them is different then the others he was from the imperial empire out gathering slaves and people they capture to do forced labor to fix the great Wall they erected a wall that separated the human kingdoms from the other races the only ones that didn't have it or the ones with the guilds and clans each kingdom had it's own different wall.as well he mentioned a town of sea folk and another town of bird people and a whole lot of different towns of different races a total of 15 towns I asked why so few he said the theocracy Church is to blame they believe humans are better than the other races and our soldiers are ordered to kill other races on site or they make slaves of them. they don't have a lot of places to go he said that's why those towns are on the very outskirts of Atlas.

right then after talking to kight he tried to pull a hidden blade and tried to kill me he didn't know I'm faster than him and one slice of my sword. i decapitated him those in the room were shocked that I did that if I let him live he would have tried to do something else I decided to start my own faction I ask The travelers to get the word out there's a new faction in town my faction name and which I am the leader of is the saints army federation or to make it short s.a.f agreed to spread the word as thanks for saving their lives. and he mentioned other clans the ones that have numbers are considered the strongest once that don't have assigned numbers are considered low in power.

meanwhile in a kingdom meeting.

priest 1. what happened to the kight you sent out there.

king 2.i don't know what happened to him I will send out Mercs to find out.

king 3. what about the slaves?

priest 1. that's what I like to know.

priest 1. can you see we're already having a discussion here.

king 6. I have some information apparently there's a new faction I heard it from one of my informants. apparently he's the one responsible for your kight not returning and destroying a group of bandits.

King 5. what's the name of this organization?

king 6. it means saints army federation .

king 3.as long as they stay out of our business I don't really care.

king 2. fool you should care the leader of that group stopped of well-trained kight and hardened bandits.

as I am getting ready to head out to Palm hills a town a few miles out I found out about it through the belongings of the kight. I gather everything start making weapons and gear as I make armor I made it light and clothes to as well I made weapons blades and I was able to find materials to make compound bow and crossbow modern I used one of my skills imagination all I have to do is put the materials out and it will do the rest and use my hands to put it together and tools. I just added a scope on the crossbow. it's looking nice as I get everything together Vanessa asked me where I'm going I told her to Palm hills she said that's a bad town and there's a slaver Outpost outside of town and that that town is home to 4 guilds and that I have to be careful I told her no worries you know what I did my last life she said yeah. before I went I set up a ritual to talk to Julius and he responded he said hey it's been awhile what you need I said information on the town of Palm hills OH he said that sounds pretty messed up and hardcore and even there are a couple of gangs there are to I asked anything else I should know he said yeah I'm giving you a heads up now a few days ago they discovered how to make guns luckily they're only making muskets and cannons somehow the mercenary guild found out how to do that and it's become very popular and there making a lot of money heck even a couple of kingdoms and both empires have some now I'm just giving you a heads up on what they have they still have magic and swords to.

after talking to Julius. I head out I wore a mask to hide my face i practically wore a bandana boy that takes me back. I dressed in light clothes and black armor and I wore a coat and boots and a big backpack I was trying to look like a hooded adventure. after walking a couple of miles I made it to the town of Palm hills.

as I enter town I noticed it was very depressing to look at very few soldiers keeping the peace as well the town has a wooden fence around it and very few places to go but there were a lot of brick and stone houses though. it kind of reminds me of an old European town I saw in the books about the black plague. as I walk down the street people around me looked at me like I was different from then. yeah I was at least I have some nice clothes on some of the clothes they wear we're kind of old and beat up like they have been through fights I guess this town is pretty tough. I decide to go into a bar and gather information.as I sit there on the bar still the bartender ask me what will I have

I said to him I'll take some rum he said sure that will be 5 copper coins I handed him the money it's a good thing I collected all that money from the bandits and kight. I asked him about what's going on in town he said same old same old some of the gangs fighting over territory the soldiers don't do crap and the guilds are bickering amongst each other over jobs. I asked what guilds are in town he said the thief and assassins and merchants and mercenaries guilds are in town. all right no wonder this town is so messed up yeah he said it is that's why he opened up his bar to make a lot of money and get out of this town someday he still wants to open up a bar just not one where there is constant fighting. I asked him where is the slaver Outpost at? he said outside of town they set up the Outpost near a River you said don't go over there some of the nobles and high-class people go there to buy slaves do you ask me those slavers are the worst people ever most of the kingdom's and clans don't do much about them nor the guilds my guess is they pay them off that's what he said I asked him how many people will be there now he said about 200 most of them are gangster's and thugs they hired to keep their Outpost safe. I asked him where can Maine guild at he said in the town of broken Hill I said is that it's real name yeah he said they came up with it when they were drunk I said that makes sense. I asked bartender's name he says his name he said Jack most of the people in town don't ask his name they only care about making their troubles go away.

as I finished my second drink I decided to head out and pay the outposts a visit. on my way to the Outpost I came across a merchant selling spell books and I noticed two books that caught my eye I decided to buy them I pretty much used up the rest of my money to get those two I was able to buy them one was dimensional inventory space and the other was invisibility. I stopped to read them and I gained two new abilities on my way to the Outpost I cast invisibility on me before I got there.
