His fingers, firm but teasing, gripped her waist, pulling her against his body. “Do you know what happens to those who defy me, little pet?” His voice was low, dripping with dark amusement. He leaned down, his lips hovering just above hers, close enough for her to feel his breath but not close enough to touch. “They beg.”Elysia’s pulse quickened, her breath catching as her body betrayed the fear melting into something far more dangerous. Driving Him Crazy

Elysia had not seen Azreal all day and had to eat dinner by herself. She was missing the presence of the King and having him around her, the gloomy weather did nothing to make her feel better. It had been raining heavily since morning and Elysia could do nothing, but sit inside watching the rain fall from her window.

How complicated her life had turned, it seemed every new person she had met in her life wanted to harm her in one way or the other. It made her wonder what was so special about her that got them to go through such pain and troubles to have her.

With all that had happened, Elysia doubted the King would get her another governess. A sigh escaped her lips, her long red hair cascading down her shoulders stopping a few inches below her backside. Her night dress was a new one, one Helena had gifted her a while ago. It had short sleeves and revealed a good amount of cleavage.
