Tears were rushing down her eyes now.
From pain and from what was to befall her if he succeeded. She was terrified of what he would do to her considering what she did to him the last time.
Just when he was about three steps away from her, he fell to his kneels, his hands on the floor to support him, groans of pain escaping from his lips as he gritted, "TAKE. IT. OFF."
"No!" She yelled so loudly that it snapped her awake.
Beads of sweat all over her forehead.
Her chest raising and falling, her breaths ragged and fast.
Her hands curled around the necklace again, like as if it was her salvation. She blinked, taking in her surrounding and assuring herself that she was once again safe.
When she laid back this time around, she didn't go back to sleep.
But her mind was burdened with thoughts
What if he came back?
Would she be able to escape him as she had done this time?
How long could she keep up with this?
