Origin Flame

Cyrus who just came across a herd of boars.

When Cyrus found the boars, he wasn't careful and was noticed by the boars. Cyrus understood that he was caught so he revealed himself, created a flame on his arms, and took a fighting stance. The boars covered their tusks and feet in flames. More than 10 boars charged at Cyrus. He erupted fire in the soles of his feet and jumped over the charge.

After landing Cyrus compressed flame and made an orb which he threw toward the charging boars. The boars without thinking just rushed toward the orb and when they collided the orb exploded and killed 4 boars who got caught in the explosion. The remaining six boars collided with Cyrus and he flew backward, hit a tree, and landed on the ground.

Before Cyrus could stand up another group of 10 boars rushed at him. He dodged some boars and they hit the tree hard but Cyrus still got hit by the Boars and flew back and hit a tree again. As Cyrus was getting up a large shadow covered him from behind and he turned around to see what it was.

When Cyrus turned down, he saw a boar more than three times larger than the other boars. It was a 5th level-entry beast. Cyrus immediately jumped up by erupting fire on his feet. The big boar jumped up and knocked Cyrus out of the air. Cyrus's eyes narrowed as he saw the boars surrounding him.

Cyrus stood up and finally balanced himself. He reorganized himself and made a plan to deal with them. The big boar charged at Cyrus at full speed, he saw this as an opportunity and ran toward the other boars. The big boar understood what Cyrus wanted to do but couldn't stop itself as it was charging at full speed.

Before the big Boar collided with the other boars Cyrus let out a Fire Wave toward the boars which injured them. Just before they collided Cyrus jumped backward above the big boar and landed behind it. The big boar collided with the other boars and killed 20 boars.

Suddenly, Cyrus glowed in bright light and he broke through. Cyrus is now a 4th level-entry beast.

Cyrus felt delighted, but the big boar glared at him with hatred. The boar covered itself completely in flames, and its tusks became bright red. As the boar charged at Cyrus again, it didn't charge at full speed this time, making it easier for Cyrus to dodge the attacks. Cyrus continued to attack the boar with Flame Orbs and Blazing Arrows.

After a few minutes of repeating this process, the big boar finally died.

The remaining boars started to run in different directions Cyrus chased down the largest group of 30 boars and killed them with a AOE skill called Fire Rain. Cyrus then took a break in a large cave nearby and after a few hours of sleep, he returned to full health. Just when he was about to leave the cave, he was attacked by more boars but this time there was a large boar with giant tusks leading them.

The boars created fireballs between their tusks and launched them at Cyrus. Cyrus wasn't expecting an ambush and was hit with 30+ fireballs consecutively. He was bewildered as to why he couldn't sense this many boars. Cyrus thought "I might be in trouble; I don't think I can dodge this many fireballs coming at me."

But when Cyrus was hit with the fireballs, he didn't feel any pain, he was confused for a moment and then realized that it was most probably because of his talent "Origin Flame" Flames can't hurt the origin flame. Having realized this Cyrus took a deep breath and spewed a large amount of fire toward the giant boar.

The fire instantly killed the giant boar. Cyrus was shocked, as he didn't expect the giant boar to die in a single hit. The other boars who witnessed this, created and threw a huge number of fireballs at Cyrus. Ignoring the fireballs, Cyrus dashed at the boars and killed them with a volley of Fire Arrows.

Cyrus was still unable to understand why they died with one hit. Then he saw a group of boars far away who launched fireballs at him. Then Cyrus finally understood why they were very fragile. They gained long-range abilities in exchange for their defence. So, Cyrus killed every boar in the vicinity and broke through the level 5 entry beast.

After Cyrus broke through, he gained a new "Blazing Scales" skill. This skill generates burning scales on the body that don't hurt the user but burn anyone who touches them. The skill he gained was perfect because he needed a defense skill, Cyrus was already very versatile because of his "Fire Manipulation" skill.

But now with this skill normal physical attacks won't threaten him anymore. Maintaining the defense requires immense spiritual energy, which is the only drawback. Satisfied with his hunt Cyrus was about to return to the base. But he suddenly remembered that he needed to bring back all the corpses of boars he had hunted so far.

Remembering the number of boars that he had hunted Cyrus was very tired just thinking about the work he had to do. Cyrus took a deep breath and began to bring the carcasses back to the base. He thought it would take a long time, so he prepared himself. It took Cyrus more than 3 hours to bring back all the carcasses.

When Cyrus was bringing back the carcasses, he ran into the others who were doing the same thing; bringing the carcasses back to the base.
