CHAPTER 47: MENOS

"…I finally found you… Ishida…!" Ichigo said as he made his entrance while cutting down a caterpillar like hollow.

"Kurosaki…!" said Ishida as he turned to face Ichigo in an intense stare off.

"Before I get to you, the first thing I've gotta do is trash this guy!" Ichigo suddenly said and then proceeded to give Kon a piece of his mind.

The shouting and ranting went on until it became a full blown three way argument between Ichigo, Kon and Rukia who got here with Kon. It went on until Ishida who was now very peeved at Ichigo's attitude and very annoyed at them for so blatantly ignoring his presence pointed his spirit weapon at Ichigo's back.

"SHUT THE HELL UP, KUROSAKI ICHIGO!! I AM YOUR OPPONENT…" Ishida shouted at Ichigo while drawing his bow with a nocked arrow when suddenly his finger's slipped due to the blood now present on his hands.

"Oh N…" he started to say when suddenly Ichigo turned back and cut down on the incoming arrow, therby dispersing it.

"That's right… You get it… This is a battle between you and me, So don't tell me how many hollows you've defeated and all that crap!!"

"We're gonna settle this. Just you and me! Got it Ishida!!!?" Ichigo shouted at Ishida when suddenly,

*CRACK*

All of their attention was drawn to the sky where there were now multiple converging cracks that were now joining together to create… something. All of a sudden all the hollows in the area began to head right for that point.

Ishida was the first to break out of his stupor and then quickly drew his weapon and fired at the rushing hollows. His move seemed to have brought the others out of their reverie and Ichigo quickly said to Ishida, "Quit it, Ishida! There's too many!! After we think of a strategy…"

"Are you afraid, Kurosaki!?" Ishida turned slightly to ask as he shot another arrow at another hollow, giving it a headshot.

"If you're afraid, you can watch from here! I will win this battle!!" Ishida said as he ran off spouting something else about being the last quincy which seemed to have caught Ichigo's attention.

"The Last Quincy…? What's he saying…" Ichigo mumbled to himself, under his breath.

"The Fall of the Quincy 200 years ago…" Rukia said beside him as she then proceeded to tell him the story she just found out from Urahara just a while ago about how the shinigami's had to wipe out the quincy's to prevent the destruction of the world.

'Was that really the only reason though?' Houryu thought as he watched the 'show' from his spot.

Rukia still told her story to Ichigo anyway…from the shinigami's perspective though, after all they weren't the ones being killed or they and their families being wiped out.

Ichigo now knowing this did what every shounen main character does after knowing their enemies backstory, which is to go on a "talk no jutsu" spree to try to convince the enemy to come to the righteous side.

Only this time, Ishida didn't actually care about the fall of the quincy that happened 200 years ago, but about his sensei who was killed due to the shinigami's tardiness to take care of the hollows.

'Even though we all know the actual reason was different… wait they don't… haha.' Houryu thought and laughed while still patting Sylvia's head as she still lay in his lap.

Ishida took his sweet time to go into a speech about how he must prove the strength of a quincy in front of a shinigami, but…

"YOUR STORY IS TOO LONG!!!" Ichigo shouted as he kicked Ishida's head from behind into a hollow's face.

"For once I agree." Houryu approved of Ichigo's move as he watched, nodding his head at Ichigo's move.

Ichigo then pulled out his deadliest move "moments of common sense" and used it to use the "talk no jutsu" on Ishida and this time… it worked.

Meanwhile a bit away from Ichigo and Ishida were Rukia and Kon wondering why it suddenly got quiet quickly. Kon wanted to quickly make use of this opportunity to get all "touchy feely" with Rukia, but she wasn't having it.

*CRUNCH* was the sound that was made after a well-placed knee strike from Rukia.

"S…Sorry, Ichigo… Your… You won't be able to use it ever again…" Kon barely gasped out as he lay on the ground with foam coming from his mouth.

"ooooh… she dangerous." Houryu said with his mouth open and his knees now closer to each other than before.

Rukia on the other hand ran towards where Ichigo was with Ishida to now see them with their back to each other and surrounded by hollows.

Ichigo and Ishida dashed towards the hollows surrounding them and began to take them out one by one. Some went down by a sword, some by an arrow and the unlucky ones, with a combo of both.

As they fought with their backs to each other, confessions came, about how Ichigo's mother died to a hollow and how he plans to protect "a mountain load of people."

As they fought, the hollows suddenly began to make a weird sort of sound and acted as if they were praying to something.

*CRACK*

The space in the sky above them got cracked and then two hands began to pull the space apart slowly, revealing a white masked, long nosed face.

"Wha… What is that…!?" Ichigo barely got out in shock of what he was seeing.

"It…It's Enormous! That's a hollow too!?" Ishida asked, also stupefied at what he was seeing.

An argument quickly broke out between them on how they would fight such an enemy while also taking out the other hollows present in their surroundings.

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

What seemed like missiles were fired into the hollows surrounding Ishida and Ichigo, bringing a quick end to their ongoing "status report meeting."

What came into view after the smoke was cleared was a little girl with a twin tails hairdo carring some sort of missile launcher.

A bit away from her was a young boy holding a baseball bat, a man wearing green with a striped hat and holding a fan and walking stick and a big burly man with plaited hairdo.

"Kurosaki-san! We've come to the rescue." Urahara called out in a singsong voice.

"Sandal hat guy…!?" Ichigo replied, confused as to what was going on.

"JINTA HOME RUN!!!" Jinta shouted as he ran and smashed his baseball bat into a hollow's face.

Ururu fired another round of missiles at the hollows.

'How does she reload that thing?' was the only question going on through Houryu's mind as he watched the new arrivals in action.

Very soon the number of the surrounding hollows began to decrease fast as they were being taken care of by Urahara's "gang members."

"Sandal hat guy… why are you here…? Why do you show up wherever I go…!? " Ichigo exclaimed, still in a daze at what was going on around them.

"I told you just now… we've come to the rescue." Urahara repeated. "We'll take on the surrounding small fry… In order for you, Kurosaki-san… To concentrate on fighting that one" he said again as he pointed upwards.

"Look… This isn't the time for idle chit chat." He added while looking at the tear in the sky.

*RIIIIIIIPPPPPPP*

"It's coming out…!!!"

"MENOS…!!"

sorry guys, couldn't resist the cliffhanger... or could I...

Muhahahaha.

But anyway, our MC is going to be making his first appearance in the bleach canon, In the next chapter.

If anyone can guess the reason that makes him come forward, there shall be an extra chapter this week.
