Grandpa's Treasure

Inside a Kingdom's Eastern side forest, a boy not much older than 8 to 10 years can be seen sitting in the Lotus position in front of an old wooden house.

This is Ryu, who is already 9 years older and calming his mind for the awakening ceremony. Beside him there are three more individuals they are His father John Tatsuya, his mother Amilia Tatsuya, and grandfather Roland Tatsuya.

Looking at Ryu, Amilia asks with a worried face "Is it really alright for him to awaken so soon, and with the Natural spiritual liquid that too?" and turns towards Roland.

John also looks at Roland. "it's fine. He is mature for his age so I have confidence in him that he can handle the Natural spiritual Liquid too"

Hearing this, Amilia started getting more worried. She was the mother of the child and her love for the child was much more than what the others two had.

One should note that John and Amilia were trying to have a child for a long time. It has been over 2 decades since their marriage.

So, Ryu was heaven's gift for them and for Amilia, who had lost all hope for the child, got the gift and gave the child all the love she could.

The reason for the problem of having a child is because the elemental affinities of the two were in direct clash with each other.

John had Fire and earth elements and Amilia had water and wind elements. When they asked a physician about the problem, they found their affinities were the problem.

Not that this situation hadn't happened before in the vast world of Acacia, but the problem was the solution, which was Nigh impossible to afford for their family.

The solution was to ingest one of the pills made by two plants which were Fire cinder or water lily, and each plant was at least over 10000 gold coins at market price in the capital city.

What these plants do is they enhance their respective elements for some time, so during intercourse.

Cinder enhances the fire element and Lily enhances the water elements, which removes the possibility of transferring the opposing element to the child.

So, if a clan practices the fire technique, then they will not take pills made by Water lily for a solution that can hamper their clan's growth.

Ryu was a miracle for them as for his elements, they can only be known after the awakening.

While Amilia was getting worried about Ryu's life, John was worried about another thing and that was the 'Natural spiritual Liquid'.

He knew that if someone had found that their family had this treasure, then the sky could befall them.

So, he silently asked his father," father did anyone see you when you went to bring the spiritual liquid?"

for which the reply came, "you don't have to worry, no one saw me as I only traveled inside the forest"

hearing this, John calmed a little and said,

"You know father, it is capital punishment if we don't report the location of the Natural spiritual stream to the association,''

Yes, that's right, the Natural spiritual liquid which Ryu is going to use for awakening is a high-demand and low-supply product. Why?

Well, if someone is found using it without the knowledge of the association, then it will be a problem, as the association holds the absolute authority of the distribution of awakening liquid.

Two types of spiritual liquid can be used for awakening. One is Natural spiritual, liquid which forms in small streams in natural places and holds the purest spiritual energy.

The second one is called spiritual liquid, and it is created by gathering the spiritual energy of a high-class individual and processing it, but when the spiritual energy of an individual is used, it becomes polluted a little.

But the reason for Natural spiritual liquid is very high is because let's say a drop of natural spiritual is for 1000 gold coins for a regular one with the finest quality is only 1 gold coin. Why???

Well, when one takes spiritual liquid for the first time, the body gets accustomed to the energy it comes to contact with and creates that.

So say one takes spiritual liquid of impurities then his/her body will only create that type of energy which can result in hindering growth for one thing but for the bigger picture it will always be weaker than the person who has taken the Natural Spiritual liquid but this also have limitation like the effects can be only on the same realm of course, or someone will say that they can fight higher realms only on the quality of their spiritual qi, but that's not easy on only quality of spiritual energy.

After inspecting a little he found that there is a very fine stream of the natural spiritual liquid had been formed because of which he became very happy as to how they can earn huge amounts of money by giving this to the association their family will get enough rewards to life without working much.

The reason is simple. Even the stream of liquid is very small with sufficient time. It will be enough to make two bottles of liquid required for awakening.

So, he started collecting the liquid in bottles so he could earn.

It took him a few years to collect enough to fill one bottle, but at that point, Ryu was born so He thought maybe this can be useful for his grandchild.

So, he kept the natural spiritual liquid in another safe spot in the forest so that nobody can find it and blame them for it. ""

At first, he didn't tell John and Amilia about the spiritual liquid, but after bringing it here and showing them; he had to tell them how he found it.

So now they were here waiting for the boy to calm his mind and body as much as possible and start the awakening.

while the three of them were talking, they heard a voice

"Grandpa I am ready"
