Chapter 17 Slightly Better Danzo

One week has passed since Loki and I become lovers and while I've got to say that I enjoyed the faces of her children, I couldn't bring myself to actually take her away from them at least not yet. Another interesting thing that happen this week was me gaining my first divinity in this world, meaning that I somehow developed the same divinity a Loki thus making me the God of war and mischief which I found really hilarious, and if that wasn't enough, the said divinity made my magic, even more, scarier than anyone could imagine. For example, I could now summon ghost that could take any shape the target desire and pulling pranks on them or if I want I could use those said ghosts to subtly make my targets suicide or destroy their lives which in a way kind of make sense for someone that its name the God of War and Mischief.

When Loki found out that we are basically the same kinds of gods, she went berserk and starts celebrating telling everyone that she found her soul mate which to be fair made me slightly embarrassed. Thankfully no one tried anything stupid while I and Loki were enjoying each other company moreover after the rumors about our relationship start appearing in the city.

After that little happy moment, I had a serious talk about what happened inside the dungeon with all of the important families inside the city, and thanks to Ouranos' words, no one dared to stay home and ignore my call. At first, many of the smaller families didn't believe me and using their words: "What could a new god know about the dungeon?" That made me chuckle a little, but after showing them the proof that the dungeon is more than a place where mortals could earn money, that and the fact that, I'm the first and only registered adventurer that managed to achieve level 9, or level 10, but that's only known by Loki, Hestia, and Ouranos.

By the time I finished telling what I found down there, most of the gods were skeptical about sending their children into a death trap, or at least that's what most of them thought about the dungeon. The fact that the dungeon was actually just a toy for what I believe to be the first-ever gods to appear made the top brass rethink their strategy, especially Loki, who was the main familia that was centered around deeper expeditions. The smarter or should I say cunning ones, had their doubts that I was hiding something, but they couldn't prove anything, and seeing that I was the only god that could level up brought up another problem: Why am I the only god that could enter the dungeon and level up like a normal adventurer?

The simplest explanation that I had the desire to tell them was that it had something to do with my divinity which they know that it's tied to me being a hero and king. Also, thanks to Ouranos' intervention, barely any god had the guts to continue to argue about me being a fake god which to be fair made me quite interested in this matter. Maybe I'm a fake god here, but I'm pretty sure that there isn't anyone alive that could rival me, at least no one known to the entire world.

Thankfully the meeting ended on good terms and by the time I managed to sneak past the horny goddess, the only remaining people were Loki, Hestia, and their friend Hephaestus.

Both my new lover and my hyperactive friend introduced me to their friend which to be fair was quite the beauty, well, most of the gods were either handsome or beautiful. Hephaestus was quite interesting if you actually take your time to get to known one of the busiest goddesses in the entire city. While I had some knowledge about smiting and especially taking care of my gear, I wasn't that knowledge that I could literally beat the goddess of forging in theory. After only the bartender knows how many bottles of dwarf beer, I had to carry three passed-out goddesses out of the bar and then bring them to their homes which were easier said than done, not to mention the sheer amount of stares that I got the whole journey.

The next day, I woke up with a very satisfied Loki sleeping on my chest, and if that wasn't enough, the fact that I could slightly feel someone forcing their way through the barrier to actually spy and if my guts are right, that someone was Freya trying to spy on us which actually made me smile for some reason which at the same time also made me shiver immediately.

Kissing Loki on her forehead and then covering her with a blanket, I left her home after eating some breakfast with some of her children. At first, they were quite curious about me, but after explaining to them that I and Loki become a thing, most of them congratulate me and joked about the fact that maybe now Loki would actually grow. After that, I left the place with a goal in mind: Finding myself some children for my familia. While I wasn't forced to have any kid in my familia due to me being able to solo the dungeon, I felt like doing some good and at the same time earning a few good karma points, not to mention that it would be good training for when I would actually have children of my own.

While most of the gods would put a request at the guild, I wasn't one of them. Why should I have a bunch of adventurers that only want to use my name for their own good when I could adopt tens of orphans or homeless children that sleep on the streets of Orario? It would be easier to train them from a younger age than when they would be already old enough to have a path in their lives and if my adoptive father from Naruto thought me something that was to train my own subordinates from a tender age so that they would be loyal to me.
