ELEA’S POV
Elea scrunched into her hiding place behind the wall. She slowly opened the peephole looking down at the dark figure in the coat. It had been a long day already, and she was hungry. She took an orange out of her pocket and started to peel it. The figure stood below her, also waiting.
No one knew about Elea’s secret spying except for maybe Chloe, who often used the passages herself. The palace had been built with a network of these narrow passages alongside the corridor walls long ago. Over the centuries, they were largely forgotten about except by the royal family.
They were designed for two purposes. One: for the royal family to escape if there were ever an attack. Two: to spy.
Elea was spying. She was a master spy. It was her favorite thing to do, to know the things that no one else knew.
