Devour

Feeling Mana around him, he could feel how mana moved in the air but, without mind it, he had more important things to think about.

'First, I have to leave Heaven'

Thinking about this, Kyouya decided to ask Devour for his map function as it didn't reply while making the Map appear on top of his eyesight. Sighing, he stared at it as he saw that he wasn't that far from the gate to exit Heaven.

'I believe they won't let me out without a reason, and I'm weak enough that even an ant would be able to kill me'

At his words, Devour replied

[No, you are actually 5 times stronger than a normal human (With stats alone)...]

Its reply, brought him to sigh as he didn't want a reply, but, he decided to ignore if for the moment as he thought about an easy way to go away.

'...My only choice is to devour someone..But how can I do that?'

His question, brought Ruphiel to speak.

[Oh, that's easy! You just have to touch that person and think about what you want to drain. If you want to suck everything out of someone, you just have to think like you want everything. Even though thinking like this may get you to full fill the requirements for [Gluttony] or [Dissatisfaction]. If you obtain the former, you'll forever wish for more power. If you obtain the latter, you'll never be satisfied with what you obtain, so pay focus about what you are doing, as some evil deeds can corrupt your being easily. That's why goodness is so hard to achieve..]

Thinking about his words, Kyouya couldn't help but add

'Because goodness will give you good rewards... I see. As I am with a Neutral tendency, I can easily convert into one with Good tendency or Evil tendency, but I don't wish for neither. I'm not a Saint nor a Devil. I'm just me'

While he thought about this, he actually understood that he misunderstood what 'devouring' someone meant. From what Ruphiel explained, he just needs to touch someone and think about what he wanted to drain.

Thinking about a good plan to escape heaven, he managed to complete it in a few minutes as he laughed sarcastically at the panel that appeared in front of him.

Thinking about this, he exited the door as he started to walk towards the gate. After several minutes, he saw that several Angels were already on the streets, happily talking amongst themselves with spears in their hands.

'Obviously, this is a defence gate, so they are prepared for everything...'

Without hesitation, Kyouya faked a stumble as he slumped to the ground as other Angels immediately saw him.

"..Boy? What happened?"

Hearing him, Kyouya replied weakly

"Nothing..I wasn't paying attention to the street.."

Seeing that he actually had a bruise on his knee caused by the fall, the Angels understood that he wasn't that strong.

"Perhaps... you are a new Angel?"

The man's words, brought Kyouya to nod as he remained on the ground while the man that asked this question approached him while kindly lending him a hand. Seeing it as well, he smiled as he accepted his 'kindness'.

Thinking about levels, he felt it was actually working as he was draining the man's level, slowly, but surely.

Knowing it was better not to drain too much from a single person, Kyouya released his hand as he replied with a smile.

"I'm sorry Uncle, and thanks for the help.."

Nodding, the man's smile didn't fade as he added

"Don't worry, I am glad that you are fine!"

Even though the man's words were kind, Kyouya was pretty disgusted by his behaviour. Faking a smile, he raised his hand to say 'goodbye' to him before heading closer to the gate..
