Chapter Six:An unfortunate Day.

One hundred years ago.

[Crystal Palace, Heaven].

"My Lord"The seer,Seth called the attention of the highlord,Celio.He wasn't happy at all concerning how personal he had taken Damon's issue.

He should have had a change of mind, considering the prophecy,in as much as Damon was a dark angel he still was needed in the future to come.

That's what he was worried about,but it seems the highlord wasn't concerned about what the future has for them,after all he can change the time but can destiny be easily changed?

"There's nothing that you are going to say right now that would change my mind about him,He deserves every pain he's going through right now"The highlord replied,not willing to change his mind.

With his back facing Seth,he didn't need anyone to tell him what his visit was all about,he's going to lecture him on what Damon means to them,but he had had enough of the goddamn prophecy!

Afterall,he has taken care of the baby,so he doubted if the stupid prophecy would still come to light anymore.

"Then what about the prophecy my Lord? I'm sorry to say this,but Damon is nothing but our biggest asset right now"

Just like he had imagined,Seth was still bothered about the prophecy, sometimes he wondered if Seth had forgotten so soon who he was.

He's the highlord of the crystal palace,and above every other living mythical creature on  earth and immortal realm at large.

He's not afraid of Damon,that goddamn prophecy nor the child either!

"That's nothing to be worried about Seth,he proved his nothing but a piece of shit the moment he bonded his soul with a human child,do you have any idea what that means?"

His nose flared out in anger,and this time he was facing Seth,"He isn't afraid of me,he isn't bothered about the rules, between the living and the immortal,he's just like…."

He paused trying to think of who to describe Damon better, but Seth beat it to him by mentioning her name.

"Nimue"Seth cut in, watching the way his eyes darkened at the mention of her name,he had forbidden everyone from talking about her around him.

Not when he was highly humiliated by his fianceè,the queen of heaven who gave up what he felt for her,her responsibilities by falling in love with a human.

Those damn Humans!

"It's not considered treason as long as he didn't use the spear of destiny my Lord,and we know that,so i don't see the reason for…"

"That's enough Seth! I won't have you questioning my authority.He's going to be locked up there,for a hundred years, that would teach him a good lesson"He warned him,he didn't want to lose his control and punish him for the way he's talking to him.

"Celio you are going overboard,and i would warn you before it's too late.That boy did no wrong"Seth still stood his ground, defending Damon like his life depended on it.

Things have changed ever since the queen of heaven left him for a human,he hadn't been himself and had put up that law in anger, but it's obvious that he did that out of spite. 

"Did Lucifer put you up to this?"The highlord asked,a grin forming at the edge of his lips because if  he could remember clearly, Lucifer didn't move nor say anything but watched as his son was taken.

"Everything is not about you Celio,what about the child?''He changed the subject because it's so obvious that he's not going to change his mind,so he might as well leave him to dance to the tune of his music.

He had a lot on his hands right now,dealing with the dark lord's that were fighting him from all corners had him on edge,so this was probably not the right time for this discussion.

"You didn't kill her did you?"Seth added,He hoped that he didn't kill her because he won't be able to handle the guilt that  comes with taking the life of an innocent child.

Celio had put him up to making the baby seem like she's some abomination,and that had been as a result of Uriel's relationship with Ophelia.

"I got rid of her"He said simply, without  any fear of guilt for what he had done.

"No you didn't take the life of an innocent child Celio,you are meant  to be pure but you are soaking your hands in too much blood lately "Seth reminded him of who he was,Incase he had forgotten so soon.

He was the God,just the humans refer to him.He was meant to be the peace and bring peace to the two realms but things have changed.

"I didn't kill her"He turned to look at the constellation room,where her star was still shining brightly which bothered him about.

Seth followed  the direction of his eyes,and let out a deep breath when he saw the  child's star.

"Do you think sending her to the human world is the right choice,She had the blood of a nephilim running inside her,and that of her mother who we don't know what she is yet"

"That's more reason why i sent her there Seth,and reduced her life span"Celio said with a smirk on his face.

"She will always end up dying a pathetic death in every life she reincarnates,it's a none ending cycle.That way i can he assured that she's no threat to my kingdom"

He said with cold eyes that were happy and elated with what he did,she's nothing but a threat to his reign seeing as she is born under the red star,the same star as the real owner of his seat.

The overlord, Hercules, his dead step brother.He wouldn't have considered her a threat, had it been she was one normal immortal like the other's.

But she had gone along to instill fear in his heart,about his brother being alive and coming back to take his throne away from him.

That was another reason she had to die, thankfully Micheal had done a good job bringing her to him although he was badly injured,but he would be rewarded handsomely for what he had done.

"Isn't that a bit harsh ? She's nothing but a child.."Seth couldn't hide his fear,Celio was scaring the shit out of him lately.

"A child you say?"He asked, coming closer to face him."You saw it yourself ,She's nothing but a collateral damage that I'm getting rid of,you should be glad that i gave her such punishment and had not thrown her away in the lake of oblivion"

"I'm sorry my Lord"Seth apologized, when he regained his senses.The prophecy was more important than any other thing, seeing that she had successfully come into the world,it's only right that he gets rid of her.

"You better b…"Celio's statement was cut short by the impromtu appearance of his servant,who was calling for him.

"My Lord..my Lord.."

"To what do i owe this…"Celio's statement was cut short by the reply that had him on edge.

"The hall of the fallen was invaded by the dark lord's.."

"what?"Seth exclaimed.

"The spear?"Celio asked,that was his main concern.

"Unfortunately Raphael and his men were able to protect it,and as well catch a minion of the dark lord's who was unlucky to escape ''The man explained, before Celio let out a relieved sigh.

"Today is such an unfortunate day"Seth muttered,while Celio rolled his eyes at him before turning to the servant.

"Take me to Raphael"He says, walking away with Seth following behind him,the case about the dark lord's was now getting out of hand,and he couldn't wait to find out what exactly their mission was.

Just like Seth had said,today is such an unfortunate day but at least he's not at the losing end for now,and he hoped to keep it that way forever.

In the dark room,with barely any light covering the entire decor of the room which made it hard to see the shadow that was in, who's face was covered with a robe.

Everything about him seemed off, starting from his stature to the very dark aura he gave off.

Negative energies.

Dominance.

Evil.

More evil.

That's what lingered around him,as he had his hands at his back with his eyes closed in deep meditation.

He was waiting for the good news,but one glance at the red sky moments ago made he knew that things had escalated further.

A knock was heard on the door,before a man walked in with  his head bowed  down in fear for his life, because he's likely to kill him with the news he had.

"Killian?"The man asked firstly,his cold voice sent shivers down the man's skin.

"I'm sorry master,but he's running late in.."The statement was cut short by the door opening to reveal a handsome young man,who took a look at the man directly telling him to leave,he wasted no time on scampering for his safety.

"Father?"Killian made his prescence known,it was all right that he he the one to tell him this bad news than anyone else.He knew his Father and his temper.

"Where is she?"A simple question,that he demanded a reply.

"She couldn't make it,She's dead.Her body is in the cold room"Killian replied.

" Pathetic fool! Her child? Did you get rid of that thing in her womb?"He demanded again.

There was a brief  pause before Killian replied,"She gave birth to the child father,but i wasn't able to .."Killian's statement was cut short when he was pushed to the wall,with a strong grip around his throat.

"What use are you to me if you can't do anything right?!"The man demanded, his eyes color changing instantly while tightening his grip around his son's neck as he pushed at his hand.

"I'm so.. sorry father,I will do better"He said through choked breath,it took a while before he released him while Killian coughed to regain his breath.

"If only Cain was still alive,I wouldn't have to deal with your shits and that of your stupid sister"He spat, making Killian feel bad but he didn't let that show,he loved his life.

"I'm sorry father,I will try my best"

"Well you best isn't enough Killian,you need to do more than that if you are to succeed me"He reminded him,that was Killian's weak spot,he will do anything just to prove his worth to him.

"I wasn't able to get hold of the spear either,but i will.."

"Get out"the man spat, moving away from his son with his hands clenched in anger,he was filled with rage and wanted nothing but to kill.

"Celio,enjoy while you still can,I will be coming for you soon"He muttered,before coughing loudly,the blood coming out of his mouth as a result of the poison given to him by his brother,Celio.

"I will kill you and your entire family right before your eyes"He spat,a promise he plan on fulfilling,before he went for the blood that was in the cup besides him, drinking the entire contents down as his red eyes darkened against the night.

He couldn't wait to get well soon,and come back for what is rightfully his,and when that time comes,a lot of blood will be shed!
