Chapter Fifteen:He's Having A Vision.

Crystal palace,Heaven.

It's been years since after the punishment of Damon, things have taken a drastic change in the immortal realm.

It was literally the second time that an immortal was sent to the cave of oblivion for punishment, which would always end up with the extermination of such beings in the end.

Extermination?

That's what people had believed,starting from the Highlord,Celio, who knew that he had made a huge mistake by banishing Damon to that ugly place.

Things have changed,and among the changes that had taken place had specially started in the crystal palace.

Firstly was the part where Seth,the seer had lost his gift.Rumours had it that he had been cursed, by the heavens for what he had done to Damon,a special being who was protected by the prophecy.

A mere stupidity on the part of the council of elders,who didn't  take regards about the prophecy,nor the being who had been blessed by it.

That had been specifically because he was a cursed one, because he was an angel of the night.A devil.

Humans worst enemy,a curse to both the living and the immortal reign,that's what the likes of him had been.

There has never been any room for interaction, between the angel's of the lights,and that of the nights.

Everything between both parties had been neutral,with both parties strictly focusing on the nature that had tired them down to do their job as special beings.

But that had changed when he was born,Damon Morningstar,the first angel of the dark to have him recognized in the whole universe.

His mere name alone was a huge competition,when it comes with that of the Highlord,Celio.

Maybe that had been the cause of the rift between both parties,Celio hated Lucifer and their story was probably another time to tell.

A Highlord wasn't supposed to be partial,this had been the only point that Celio had kept holding onto while trying to assure himself that what he did was right.

The guilt was eating him up,and the second consequences had been that of the dark lord's, whose attack on his realm had taken a whole lot of lives in his Kingdom.

They were like a pest,unable to be perched out of the good flowers and what made it all more annoying,was the fact that no one knew who exactly they were working for.

After Damon's punishment,their attack had grown more on the crystal palace which had made him accuse Lucifer, and his offsprings for  working hand in hand with them.

Why?

Well,that was because he had a hunch that the dark lord's were nobody, but Damon's minion's who wanted his realm.

He had always known the boy to be different from his brother's,he literally had something in him that made him insecure about his throne.

A stupid observation on his part, because it's never being recorded about the devil's spawn taking control of the crystal palace,which was the main base of the immortal realm.

No one had been alive to witness such a thing,but when the weight of leading his people who were nothing but ungrateful assholes, that blame him about what he did to Damon.

When in actual sense they had all witnessed the punishment,and had conceded to it, but now things are getting out of control in the palace,they blame him.

They laugh at him!

They were nothing but conniving douchebags that smiled in front of him,but cursed him behind his back.

It wouldn't be wrong to exterminate all of them, and start  a new empire with the people he thinks are ever loyal to him.

But that would only end up with him facing the same punishment as Damon,no.. that would be way worse than what Damon had gone through.

They would call it treason.

He was the Highlord,but the powers were shared.It was a democratic setting with him being the head,but not entirely holding the power to make his authority absolute.

But he craved for a change.

"You are here"Seth interrupted his quiet time,which made him glare his nose at the intruder and would have punished whoever it was, had it being it wasn't someone important.

"Just having a quiet time,away from work stress"Celio lied through his teeth,which serh could obviously see right through him.

He wouldn't be having his quiet time right here, in the constellation room which had turned out to be his favorite place aside from his throne.

He could barely keep count of how many times he had found him here, waiting and always keeping records of every living and immortal soul that was born.

Why is that?

Well that is because he's waiting to see Damon's star being reborn, everyone probably thinks he's dead by now.

That sure was the only way for him to be here, waiting to prove to everyone that what they think was right.

It was very obvious in the first place,as he didn't like Damon.Celio detest Damon!

"How's the ceremony going?"The Highlord asked, changing the topic when he saw Seth's eyes travel to where he had concentrated a while ago.

"I'm not a demon,but i could tell with the way there's not been any news of a fight that thing's are going well over there,"Seth said, moving along to stare at the stars.

There was brief silence between the two,but there was a whole lot of unsaid words that were eager to be said.

"You need to stop"Seth broke the silence,which he wouldn't deny that he didn't understand what he just said.

"I feel threatened,"Celio confessed,a stressed breath escaping his lips.

"The people are talking Celio.They are now becoming worried with your behavior lately"Seth told him the truth right in front of his face,there was no one who would do that aside from him.

"And you think am not bothered about that?"Celio huffed, moving along to leave because he was not in the mood for any of this conversation.

"Well you need to stop being wary that he's coming back,you saw it yourself that he's not reborn, and neither is there any chance that he's still alive"Seth shouted, halting his steps.

"Well that's what everyone thinks.."

"Which you need to grab onto too"Seth came closer to face him,"Your people are scared,and that's coming from their king not fully able to protect them, from either the rumors that he will  come back  feast on every living soul,and also from  the dark lord's"

"And what if a king is not able to protect them? We should have stopped him from meeting that child"Celio said with regret lacing  his tone.

"It's not your fault that Ophelia committed treason by falling for a human,"Seth convinced him.

"She's not a human,at least that's what everyone thinks,"Celio reminded him.

"But not a demon either,nor an angel"

"I should have killed the girl with my hands,it was a mistake placing the ring of death on her head"

"The girl is the least of your problems right now, Celio!"Seth shouted, trying to get his mind back in the game.

"I'm sorry"He apologized,face palming himself before  turning to face Seth.

"He's dead"Seth stated,as a matter of fact believed the rumors just to bring his friend back to himself.

"Yes,he's dead"Celio confirmed, holding onto Seth's hand with a smile on his face before a loud explosion was heard, which sent the both of them flying to different directions,before they hit the ground with a thud.

"What the…"Celio muttered, standing up to look outside the red sky but the sudden scream coming from Seth's mouth had his attention.

He's was shaking terribly on the ground,with his eyes changing its colors which only meant one thing.

He's having a vision.
