The unknown

Emma couldn't think of anything but how to help him cover up those bruises so she rushed to the cupboard, took the first aid kit and walked up to him.

Azazel did not say a word and just let her do what she wanted. He sat down on his bed and she applied the treatment to the several bruises on his hands.

The sight made her cry. He didn't have these bruises earlier on, did he get them after their argument? Maybe she should listen to him more and maybe he wouldn't hurt himself so much.

"I… I'm… sorry." She apologized and burst into more tears. "I should have listened to you, now look, your hands are suffering from 'our' problem." She cried.

Azazel was shocked at the crying kitten before him. He wasn't even bothered about the injury or her behavior but here she was, sulking and treating his bruised hands like they were the most precious things she had ever cared for.

He didn't like how she was quiet and tried teasing her.
