Beauty & The Beast

It was 7pm and it was time to start getting ready for the ball.

Rose just got out of the shower. She notice she had a little bruise on her neck due to how much she had been choked out.

She sat down in her towel at the vanity in the room she started applying makeup, she eventually covered her neck. She finished & started doing her hair. Her hair was wet, she started applying blow drying her hair and then straightening it. Her long black hair went to her sides and covered her covered chest. Soon Caleb walked in wearing a black suit with a purple tie.

"Your dress will be here shortly. A maid will drop it off, along with your jewelry & shoes." Soon Caleb walked out and locked the door.

Rose sighed and waited. Soon the door was unlocked and a maid came in holding the most beautiful dress. It was a long slim purple dress, with gems all around the chest area outlining the cleavage. The maid gave me dark purple heels. Then laid a diamond necklace on the vanity & the "promise" ring on the desk, along with a two bracelets. One was a diamond bracelet & the other was an ankle bracelet.

Everything was put on and Rose looked at herself in the mirror and didn't even recognized herself. The maid escorted her out the room to a limo outside, she could run but she gave her word.

Caleb was waiting for her by the limo talking to his guard. "You look... no words can describe how beautiful you are.... you shine like a million stars in the night sky." Caleb spoke gently and offered his hand smiling.

Rose blushed and looked away and slightly smiled. She hesitated but soon she took his hand and he twirled her where her dress spun around. He pulled her close and helped her inside.

Rose got in and so did he. She sat down in the big limo and saw win ready to go & whiskey in bottles. She sat there and listened to the music.

"My flower... I know we didn't get off on the right foot but just know I am trying... I am trying to be a nicer man... why? You make me want to be one." He spoke softly offering her a glass.

Rose met his eyes which seemed softer. She then saw him try to hand her a glass. She slowly shook her head no. "No thank you & I appreciate you trying to be nicer.." she spoke and met his eyes and slowly she couldn't stop staring. They both stared into each others eyes. Until they arrived and the door opened.

"Sir, we are here" Caleb sighed and got out and he offered to help her out.

Rose took his hand and exit the limo.

She looked around and she was at some ballroom. She looked around and saw many criminals on a list she had to chose from. She ignored it and focused on Caleb.

"Just be good & Ill do the talking flower. Okay?" Caleb smiled and placed a rose hair clip in her hair. She slowly walked with him and soon was greeted by another gang where their leader was named Carlos.

"Oh my word, you finally settled down! SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!" A woman screamed practically in their ears. Rose cringed and held back the feeling of wanting to grab her by the hair and throw her to the ground. But she stayed silent.

"Yes this is my flower. Her name is Rose Rivera. She is my soon to be... My Fiancé" Caleb smiled having a hand around Rose's waist. She had her arm around his waist. All she did was smiled.

Rose noticed her wrist was too branded by "C Z" she belonged to someone and loved it? She gave a small puzzled look and looked around. "Well she is certainly a gem. Hold onto her" she smiled waving bye.

Caleb led Rose around introducing her as his fiancé. Eventually they sat at a table and watched others dance as they ate. She heard a song that made her emotional. She thought of her dad when they use to dance to this song. A song by Elton John "Can you feel the love tonight"

She looked at Caleb who met her eyes and saw her eyes were watering. She held it in and look down. But soon she slowly reached for his hand and tugged it. Caleb looked at her and slowly got up and led her to the dance floor. They would be the only couple dancing.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and his hands in her waist. She met his eyes and for once... she saw a man... not an enemy.. she saw a man who was hurt and wanted attention.

"You are beautiful" he whispered and slow danced with Rose. Eventually Rose laid her head on his chest and smiled as they danced the night away. The tension between them was so real, that by the time the song ended their eyes met and slowly in the heat of the moment their lips almost met until, the same woman from earlier came and squealed in Rose & Calebs ear. "Oh my goodness!! Your love connection is inseparable!" People started cheering and clapping. Rose blushed and looked at Caleb and back to the people. She slowly realized she almost kissed Caleb and started to run off to the ladies room.

Caleb followed quickly.

Rose was about to enter the restroom until Caleb grabbed her hand pulling her to him.

"Hey whats wrong?" He asked and she didn't meet his eyes.

Rose pulled away. "You are my problem" she slowly raised her voice and covered her mouth as it slipped out.

"I am not the one who ran out" he crossed his arms.

"No, but you are the one who took me & made me feel overwhelmed by coming to this ball" Rose then went to the restroom and locked the door. There was no windows so Caleb didn't worry about her trying to escape.

So many emotions were going through her head.

That woman came, "Caleb is she okay?? Im sorry, if we scared her."

Caleb glared at her "Not now Cindy, next time keep your mouth shut before I tell Carlos to seal it shut" he warned and Cindy bowed her head in submission. Walking off.

Rose came out and met Caleb as he came from behind and held her close. "I can see in your eyes... the pain you feel... " he made her face him. She looked at him. "Your.. your a beast! All you care for is yourself. And my pain? The pain I feel? You know nothing of my past." She glared at him slowly broken as the song brought back memories of her late father.

Caleb sighed and soon snapped. He pushed her to the wall and scooped her up by her ass and met her eyes but then backed away. "Lets go. Now" Caleb more demanding. At that moment all he wanted to do was scoop her up and kiss her as he could tell she was broken inside. Make her feel love. But he denied the emotion.

Rose followed. Both now in the limo on the way home.

The ride home was quiet. Once they arrived Rose got out the limo and walked off towards the road home. To her home. Caleb ran after her and grabbed her arm and pulled her close "you aren't going anywhere" he growled lowly. She turned to slap him but he caught her hand and soon... the unspeakable happened...

She grabbed his head as he leaned down and they soon locked lips and kissed aggressively, as if they were never gonna see each other again.

A spark was finally lit and they were in flames...
