A girl in the moonlight. Her tears like beads of glowing gems, the clearest stones. She sat on the balcony singing a song, a song that made people cry in tears for her. Yet no one was listening, because there was no one there to listen to her. They mocked, pitied, and laughed at her. Yet she wondered, wouldn't there be at least one person who will cry for me? Her black hair cut short of past's mistakes. Her jaded skin made the moon pale in comparison, and yet there were her eyes that held many things captured within her. Her brown eyes that used to seem so, so simple before.

The girl cried, "Because of past's mistakes!"

The man said, "You belong to me, to be used by me, to be loved tortuously only be me. Isn't that right, my black rose?"
