"It's five minutes already," I patted Zarfa's back gently, but instead of letting me go, she hugged me even tighter.
"Can't...can't you just stay another night?" she asked quietly, voice muffled on my chest.
We'd been having this conversation for the last half an hour, even after we said our goodbye already. I already had my farewell with the others, but this girl kept saying just five more minutes as if it was an alarm snooze or something.
"We'll be seeing each other in a month anyway," I knocked her head gently.
"I know, but..." she clutched my back tightly for a few seconds, before taking a deep breath and pulling away. "Haa...alright."
I chuckled and squeezed her cheeks. "Don't act so dramatic. You used to leave me alone in the hospital while laughing back then."
"This time and that time are different!" she pursed her lips. "But fine--the next time I see you, I'll give you a big big wedding present!"
