"Why? You're capable on your own. Besides, you don't listen to me at all." The demon king chuckled as he shifted his head and closed his eyes for a more comfortable position. "Do you really think I'm not watching you? You even dragged Zhenye and Wenrou into it."
"That's impossible. I would know if someone was…" Xu Rouguang frowned as he sat on the ground. He then realized. "One of them told you…"
"I did tell you… I have their allegiance." Emodao only hummed. "Don't be mad at any of them; they're just scared that you will get hurt. It's Dunzhao after all. If he really is working with the immortals, the more dangerous it was for you."
