C31: Royal Saviours:

The cold water ran through Jamie's body as he held his face to the nice and sweet shower. Even on Earth, he never had such a refreshing shower as this.

Andy was taken into the infirmary for some herbal treatment to make his energy whole again – Jamie hoped that his wife wouldn't text him while he was sleeping.

The Demon King stepped out of the bathtub, wearing the new long-sleeved shirt that was given to him by the castle. And, also the simple black jeans. Jamie stood in front of the mirror and he was disgusted by the sign in the middle of the white shirt that the maidens gave him.

He raised his hair with his hand and came out of the washroom into the room of the maiden he was allowed to occupy. He wasn't too shocked to see the image outside though.

He sighed again.

"What? You don't need me? The Princess said to give you my room and the bed for the night. The bed comes with me," she said.

Claire pushed back the trail of her falling on the side behind her ear and smiled at Melloni. "I'll be right there, sis."

"Come come… your favorite today," Melloni winked at the girl. Melloni tried to leave the room – but she forgot one thing. Instantly, she stepped backward and said, "Hey! Darling – did you hear from Jamie or something?"

Claire gazed back up at her sister and took her phone. She checked the notification bar, only to see that there were no messages from Jamie.

"No, sis. He hasn't texted me back after that rat scene…" she said.

Melloni narrowed her eyes upon hearing this. 'Texted? What – she already texts with him… hmmm —'

"Ah, ok, hon. Come down soon, the food will get cold. I'll be waiting – and ask Jamie if he wants to join us for dinner!"

"Ok, sis."

Melloni hurried down the stairs. Claire smiled and looked down at the chat with Jamie.

[Hey, Jamie. Are you coming to dinner today? Sis asked. Come come… we can talk about our Guild too!]

Jamie strapped his sword to his back and walked through the hallways to find the exit. The maiden who was supposed to keep his company of him quickly got into some clothes and hurried after him.

"Idiot! Who told you to roam in the Royal Halls with a sword while unaccompanied by a royal servant! Warriors are truly only muscle these days."

Jamie didn't look back at her and simply said, "Maidens are just boobs these days."

The maiden rolled her eyes.

"This way… to the Dinner you were invited to," said the maiden and took a turn to the left, grabbing his hand.

However, Jamie did not want to take a turn here. He wanted to check on someone before he went to the royal dinner. "Wait – my friend. The cat. Where is he?"

The maiden turned around and sighed. "He's in the infirmary right around the corner there. He should be still healing, no? He was a bit too much out of energy. He may take till morning to recover –"

"Hell no, that cat would heal faster than a level 100 Vampire."

The maiden sighed and took him into the infirmary. Weirdly, the door was slightly open.

Normally, while patients were inside the infirmary, the door was never opened.

"What –" she opened the door, only to see an empty bed and the nurse, sitting by the tool, chatting.

Jamie laughed upon seeing this. The bed cover was tied to the window and a rope made by wrapping around bed covers was hanging out of the window.

"Classic Andy," he giggled.

The nurse looked up at the two and explained about the empty bed.

"Why are you looking at me, Jasmine? The guy wanted to leave before he took dinner so… what could I do? He said his wife was going to murder him if weren't back at his house by 10. So… had to let him go."

The maiden shook her head once again. Just then – Jamie received a notification on his phone.

He checked it.

By Claire: [Hey, Jamie. Are you coming to dinner today? Sis asked. Come come… we can talk about our Guild too!]

He gazed up at the maiden and the nurse. "Guys… tell the princess that I have to catch up with another dinner. A real important thing than the Royal Banquet!" he said, walking towards the window. He pulled on the rope made by tying up the bed covers. "Strong enough –" Jamie turned around. "Bye girls."

He jumped out of the window and hung on the rope tightly, slowly climbing down the rope. The guards down at the entrance to the tower looked up and sighed upon seeing the guy climbing down the rope. As Jamie landed on the ground, he thought he would have a problem with the guards but –

"Leaving the Royal Banquet?" the guards asked Jamie.

"Yep," Jamie smiled at them.

"Go go… the gates won't let anyone in or out of the castle after fucking ten!" they snapped at him.

"Jeez, chill guys," Jamie said, turning around and dashing through the bridge built over a small lake in front of the castle's entrance. He felt his stamina increase as he ran through the castle to the town.

He felt his stamina increase, and far in the night sky, the moon was shining very brightly.

The maiden looked out of the window and sighed upon seeing the Demon King run out of the castle. "Millennials these days ~"

At the royal dinner, Eric was the only special guest in the 3 chairs preserved for the 3 warriors who saved the princess. Since none of the other two came, there was only the King, the Queen, and the head of the Downwood Guard, along with a maiden.

Eric grabbed the chicken on the table and munched away like an animal. "Mmmm ~ this — mmm~" he spoke with the food-filled in his mouth. "Delicious, this stuff!"

The King and the Queen sighed upon seeing this awful rat eating away at their royal table like an animal. But – they showed him gratitude anyway. The King leaned towards Rollo, the Head of the Downwood Guard. "Rollo, where is Princess Hilde?"

Rollo gulped down the piece of meat in his mouth. "Umm… the princess told me that she lost her appetite."
