Training and something unexpected

"Ugh" I hear a groan and turn around to see the two siblings finally waking up. "It seems they are awake" says Roy as she gets up and walk to the two. As she walks the two look around "where's red" the snake who was named yellow asks. "Oh so they do know you" said Roy as she turns to my direction.

"what do you think I lied to you about them not knowing me" I say to her. "Well sort of" she said while looking at the two. The two look in the direction that she was looking, we were talking via Telepathy. They see a humanoid being made out of roots having a flower on its face, who was wearing a cape looking at them. They put two and two together and finally realized "Your red!"

They get up and walk to me or sort of. As they get up they begin to stumble trying to walk, well one of them was stumbling. Yellow when she got up began to fall onto the ground constantly. "What's wrong with them" said Roy confused on why they are acting like that.

"Well they were sort of souls of the dead, and they were the souls of young kids. I felt a bit of pity for them so I killed two creatures and put their souls into their body. Before I did I gave them my name, but at the time my body was covered by this cloak, so they didn't see my entire body."

I tell her this lie that I came up with when we were having tea time. "You know I know you lied to me, sort of. Some of what you said is true, but I don't which part" Said Roy as she looks at me.

"Well either way they can stay, since they can't harm me" she said as she walked back to her chair and played with the three Root creatures.

"So you are red correct" said yellow, as she was speaking there were sparks of energy coming out of her mouth. I noticed this thinking it wasn't something big. The next second a beam of lighting flies out of her mouth and hits my chest. The beam pierced my chest and continued flying through me. Yellow closed her mouth stopping the beam from continuing the blast. Roy, Green, and yellow look at me.

I move my head down and see a hole in my chest with burn marks. The flowers in the garden begin to move their roots into my direction and when they made contact with my body, the hole in my chest began to close. In seconds the hole in my chest was finally closed.

I look behind me to see what damage the blast did to the wall. There I could see the wall that was hit by the beam. It wasn't destroyed nor did it have any burn marks on it. I was surprised by this scene.

"I guess it would make sense for angels to have a strong wall, since they might accidentally break it." I look back at yellow and see the ounce of her face, I can't tell what her emotions are right now. I can't tell if she is shocked or scared.

"I'm sorry" She says as she sees me looking at her. I look at her and just shake my head "It's alright you just gotten those bodies so you will need to practice how to control it."

I begin to think how I could help these two practice. I create two root creatures that look like deltas, but had a shield like frame on its back. "Attack this" I say to green and yellow. They look at one another and begin to 'walk' towards the delta. Green lifts his arm up and slams it down. Greens physique is not what you expect of a regular bug would look like. Green has the shape of a beetle but doesn't have the horn on his head, his head is basically like a helmet. He doesn't have the thing that beetles have that can help protect their wings nor does he have wings at all. He is a bit skinny and has spikes on his back, arm, and has one protruding out of his knuckles

So when Green slammed his fist into the delta the spike pierced the delta. When it made impact, I noticed liquid going in the deltas body. It is most likely some form of poison. I didn't expect the poison to be bad, but when I looked at where the spike pierced I could see the deltas body beginning to corrode. The roots began to break apart and fall onto the ground. The speed of the corrosion began to worsen as bigger chunks began to fall off the delta.. If I was hit by that this body wouldn't be able to survive, even if I was able to heal it.

This sight also shocked green as he pulled his arm back from where he made the hole in the delta. "Did a notification pop up saying you got exp and don't answer answer out loud just give a nod or a shake." I send a telepathic message to him. He looks at me and nods. "Helping these two level up will be easier then" I look at Roy "Hey Roy can you make a door that leads to somewhere safe so these two can practice and get used to their body."

Roy looked at me "I can take them to one of our families training room, they will be shut in there and won't be able to leave until I allow them to. Before you ask no they won't starve and get hungry, they will also be able to evolve more quickly thanks to what the room is made out of."

I swear angles are a really powerful race.

"Ok you can take them there, also can I send something with them to help them train?"

"Sure as long as it doesn't destroy the room I'm ok with it."

Getting her approval I begin to create a root creature. It's shape was that of a pot or whatever the humans called it. it was about seven feet tall and three feet wide. I gave it the following skills.

[Soul eyes, Root Creature, Digestion, Petal field, Petal storm, and healing flower]

When it was finally done Roy opened a portal and pushed the three in. Not thinking or questioning about why I made it to look like that.

As I watched the three enter the room I prepare to head back out to hunt more monsters down. But before I do go, I play a bit more of tea time with Roy.

After we finish the tea party I ask her to take to where I was at before I came back. She agrees and she opens a door there and gives me a ribbon.

I walk out and see my surroundings. Well I couldn't see it properly since I can only see clods where I'm at. I look down and notice that I'm on a cliff. I take at least a couple steps away from the.

"Why did she send me here!" I look around and see nothing but snow and clouds. "What even lives up here."

Growoh*

I then hear a deep roar.

I look behind me and only see trees, but as I look closer at their outlines I could see a couple of eyes looking at me. I use [Flower Field] and surround my self in flowers. I guess they saw this as a sign of hostility cause the next second I could see swarms of flying creatures charging at me. I grab my scythe and send a slash towards them. The blade part of the scythe then flies off the weapon and hit one of these flying creatures wing.

The creature flew past me and fell of the cliff, while screeching the entire time.

"So you're called Leach Bats. I don't know what leaches look like, but I do know what bats look like" I know this since I killed a bat the size of a tree. It was pretty easy to kill using the scythes long range attack that cut it into three parts.

But with these guys their numbers were numerous. To the point were their outlines overlaps one another. One of them begins to dive into my direction, I notice it but don't move. I expected it to pass through thanks to my robe, but I didn't expect for what happened next. I feel impact at the side of my body and the some bits of me falling off.

I look and see parts of my roots and the robe falling of. I then can see the bits having a physical shape to stone "Dang it, it's my fault for getting to cocky."

I use the roots of the flowers that I just made and heal the wound that these bats made on me. Seemingly knowing what I was doing, the bats began to attack the nearby flowers. This deprived me of any way to heal myself. "Damn it these creatures are smart."

A few more dived down at me, and with my body turning more and more into stone my moment became slow. Allowing several of these creatures to bite me, making my body turn into stone more quickly.

"Ok let's try this then" I use the skill [Specter hands] and try to grab these bats out of the sky. My plan seemed to work as I was about to grab one of them, until it bit the specter hand, and disappear. "Can they see souls as well!"

Not only can these creatures bypass the ability of the cloak but can also see and interact with spiritual attacks. If this isn't what you call a apex species then I don't want to know what is the real apex on this island.

I'm getting desperate now as I use [Flower Field] and shoot a bunch of seeds around me. They begin to bloom and seeing these flowers they began to swarm towards them. Before they attack them several arms came out of the ground and grabbed them before spikes peirced their body.

I see the notification and am glad to see a new skill being created. "Now I don't have to worry about my flowers being destroyed" I said as I use the roots of the flowers to heal me. The bats tried to stop me, but were stopped when Nature's hand grabbed about twenty to thirty of them and killed them.

I received a series of notifications as the hands kept killing the bats that came close to the flower. As my body was close to finishing the healing process I noticed the outline of something deep in the woods. The outline looked as if they were human, but for some reason my body told me that they weren't human.

Confused and not wanting to hurt a human I used [Root control] to drag the person out of the woods.

"Aah"

I hear a girlish scream coming from the woods as my roots grabbed the figure and dragged them out. As they got closer I finally saw what the person looked like.

The person had horns on her head and had a tail and a pair of wings, but these wings looked bat like. I noticed here that the bats became erratic and seemed to want to come here for some reason. "Wait is she controlling these bats?!"

"Who are you" I say to the person that I dragged out. For some odd reason my body is telling me to stay away from her as if she was a predator to me.

"I am the t-thirteenth princes of the d-demon king, you shall unh-and me and surrender to me." Oh that's why, if I remember correctly my previous race, the petal flower, were used by demons to help strengthen their bodies. But why is she out here at devils heart?

"What is your purpose here" she looks at me as if she was going to cry, and I feel absolutely nothing from this scene, absolutely nothing. "Oh I'm sorry if I'm being mean."

"What am I saying" I say to myself. Why am I apologizing to her. "If your sorry can I have one of your flowers please" she looks at me with snot running down her nose. The look on her face made me feel guilty of something. WHY AM I GETTING EMOTIONAL RIGHT NOW! I'm a flower I shouldn't feel anything.

Hearing my reply the system answers my question.

[This is due to the demons kind skill known as charm. Charm is a ability that will awaken deep emotions even inside beings that don't have any. This is used a lot by the demons to help in their goals]

"Ok why do you want my flowers" I say to her trying to hide my emotions, which is easy since the only way of communicating is using [Telepathy].

"M-my father the demon king tasked me to collect as many flowers as I could that way it could be used to help bolster the demon army." She said as she looked at me while crying still. "And what will I get in return if I give you my flowers" I say to her while looking deep in her eyes with my humongous flower face.

"I-I don't know I'll ask my father to see what you will get" she said quickly while more tears began to pour out. She is supposed to be a princess why is she crying so much. "If you don't mind I would like to come with you to meet your father and to show a sign of good trust I'll bring a couple of flowers" I say to use as I use [Flower Field] and create a flower in my hand.

Of course I'm only doing for my own benefit and to make sure she doesn't refuse I use [Aroma] to make sure she feels safe around me. "Ok if you promise that you'll bring some flowers" she says as she wipe her tears off her face. Once she stopped crying I finally didn't feel bad, it seemed that the skill of hers disappeared.

"Ok then follow me please" she says to me as she walk into the woods followed by the bats of hers.

As I step into the woods I had no clue what the future held for me, as this single step would be the fire that would spark a war between the humans and demons. That would cause even the gods themselves to get involved into.
