The solution part 2

A couple groups of creatures could be seen walking I'm a hear of twenty or so having a peaceful day. "It's a good day right bob" said one of the creatures "It sure is Dave none of us has died today and we found delicious meat hanging on trees just waiting for us to gobble them down" said the one called bob.

The heard was successful at getting the meat down from the tree they began to devour the corpse. As they where eating they felt the ground rumbling. "What is that Dave" said bob as he looked around "probably the owner of this meat. Don't worry with our numbers nothing can kill us" said Dave as he gets ready to attack anything coming to them.

As the heard gets ready to attack one of them remembered a rumor they heard and felt his heart sink. "Guys where did we get this meat from" "From the tree why" Hearing this the creature turned ghastly pale as he begins to run making the others confused.

"Why are you running" said bob confused why the creature lef the group. "ITS BECAUSE WE ARE IN THE DEMON OF THE FOREST TERRITORY" roared the creature as it continued to run. Hearing those words the others began to run as well. As they were about feel safe a couple of roots burst out of the ground miles behind them and more of the roots kept bursting out until the were close to them "Bob we won't make it" said a creature as it was stabbed by one of the roots.

"EVERYONE KEEP RUNNING" roared Dave as he saw more and more of his herd die to the roots. Until him and bob were left, as Dave looked back he saw the roots stop. "They stopped are we safe" said bob as he looked at the roots. "Probabl-" as Dave was about to finish his words he felt pain on his body for a couple of seconds til his vision went black.

Red reading the notification was confused on how he got the level up until he looked around and saw that in his rage he made ALL of his roots shoot up. Killing anything that was in his eight mile radius range.

"Well that's good I guess though I do feel bad for those creatures, but I guess the strong live while the weak become prey"

Red then started focusing on the problem at hand which was that his creature died to lack of energy.

"I gave it all my mana. Wait how much mana do I have anyways" Red then pulled up his Stat screen

"So if I get rid of the extra 12 Stat points it would be 118 for my magic! So how did it run out" Red said confused on the logic.

[The creature uses its magic for basic functions and uses more for using skills]

Sigh*

"I guess that makes sense since using skills does take alot of magic" Red then realized something off with this logic. "System if using skills use magic how come I never run out when I use Root mastery?"

[This is because Root Mastery is a natural skill that all plant monsters know at birth. The other reason is that you have a energy source giving you energy every second]

"What do you mean energy source" Red said as he tried to remember what the could be talking about.

"Wait are you talking pond or lake that I put my roots in"

[Correct]

"Well I guess that is a energy source that I use. Oh yeah what happend to the rabbits corpses that I was using to heal myself" Red then looked at where he buried the rabbits only to see roots stabbing the corpses.

"Uh heh that's my fault" said Red as he felt guilty due to the will of the father rabbit. "I'll just bring my Roots back into the ground."

After several minutes of fixing the mess he made he returned to figuring out the problem he had. "So if I gave them a skill that allows them to replenish their magic every now and then they should survive just like me" said Red as he opens the skill store.

He then started looking at the various skills it had feeling sad that he couldn't afford them. There were several of them that fascinated him such as [Flower zone] and [Dragon Flower form] but they all costed about five hundred souls.

As Red continued looking at the skills he saw one that made him confused [Digestion] "System why is there a skill called Digestion, I mean we flowers don't have a stomach so why is there a skill called Digestion" asked Red confused about the skill.

[The Skill Digestion comes from the flesh eating flower that turns corpses into its nutrients]

"I guess that makes sense" Red then looked at the skills info.

[Skill Digestion: Allows the user to turn meat into an energy source. The energy source could vary from simple nutrients to Magic energy depending on what the creature needs]

Reading the description made Red happy cause one he looked for hours for a skill like this and two it could solve his "creature dying due to lack of energy" problem.

[The skill Digestion cost fifty soul coins]

"FIFTY SOUL COINS why system" said red shocked by the price of the skill.

[It is the last skill in a skill tree for another flower]

Hearing this made Red wonder what flower used this skill is.

"Sigh I guess I'll buy it. I can always get more souls by killing anything that pisses me off" said Red as he press the comfirm button.

A notification popped infront of him showing his souls and the next second it started dropping down "System why!" yelled Red now heart broken seeing all his souls dropping.

After a minute of painfully watching his souls dissappear the notification that he was waiting for appeared infront of him.

[The host has learned Digestion]

Red waited for the rest of the notification but nothing else appeared "Hey system isn't there suppose to be a downside to this skill or something that appears infront of me like 'host need to grow a stomach to use this skill' or something close to that"

[No since the host read the description the system didn't reveale the skill description and since the skill isn't a level up type there are no other functions to it]

"Huh well thats good I guess" said Red as he started creating a Root Creature. When the root creature was made instead of Spector hands he gave it Digestion.

"Ok let's hope this works" Red then brought the remaining parts of the rabbit family and put it infront of the creature. He then gave it a small amount of mana into it to last for a couple of seconds. When the creature awakend Red waited for the notification to appear.

[Root Creature is now losing health]

"Ok eat the corpse" said Red as he grab the rabbit body with one of the roots and put it into the mouth of the creature. As the creature snaps shut it Venus flytap head shut Red could feel the root trapped in the mouth beginning to disappear.

[Hosts creature is now gaining energy. Loss in health has now stopped]

Hearing this made Red happy as he now solved the problem with his creature. Red then ordered it to eat a corpse that was on what was one of the few tree remaining. The creature began to run into the direction of where Red ordered it to go and Red saw it cut a corpse down and began to eat it.

What Red thought was going to be a cool scene became gory as he could see the mouth of the creature clamping down on the corpse breaking every bone in the area of the bite and making a bunch of blood and organs come out. If Red wasn't a flower he would have vomited from the scene.
