The First Generation Part 4

In the Demon Realm several tall spires made of roots could be seen protruding out of a bone covered ground. Holes and several craters could be seen sprawled across the land, showing the results of a tremendous battle that had ensued long ago. On several of these root spires several bodies made of roots could be seen poking out. Each looked soulless and terrifying as the last.

Suddenly one of the bodies began to jolt forward before laying its back on the root spire. "I had almost forgotten that I made these here" I said as I examined the nearby surroundings. I look around and remember the battle of skills and magic I had with the warrior named Boney, or so I think is his name. "Shame he isn't a part of my group, we could have been good friends" I said as I yanked myself forward and fell onto the dark cold ground.

[Fake Flesh]

I soon got up and once I got up I looked around and spotted what I came here for, "I wonder how Green is doing?" I stared at a tower that seemed to pierce the very heavens above and had small creatures flying in and out of the various holes that were on the side of the tower. "I see he has expanded his power while I was asleep" I said as I walked towards the tower.

As I walked, I could not help but have the feeling of something watching me. I soon could see a small dark cloud rushing towards me and when I focused on the cloud I realized that it was hundreds upon thousands of demons that turned into half insects or full on insects with several yellow pulsating bulges on different parts of its body. "How kind of him," I said as I stared at the army before raising my hand into the air, "to send me some practice dummies."

[Decay Beam]

Suddenly the various root bodies, that hanged on the giant roots, flowers suddenly began to form gray orbs on top of its base for several seconds. "Fire" I said as the gray orbs soon sent gray beams towards the cloud of insects. Once the beams made contact with the insects, their body began to turn to stone before plummeting towards the ground. Smashing upon impact with the hard cold ground.

As I continued walking past the falling insect demons, one that survived its fall landed in front of me and quickly raised its giant insect-like arm into the air before slashing at me. "Boring" I said before swiping my finger up.

[Flower Dimension]

The insect creature stopped midway and froze on the spot before suddenly splitting in half from the top to the bottom. I walk past the bleeding body and continue my walk. Throughout my walk I came across various types of insects, some were large and bulky like my Alphas and others were small and skinny, while others seemed normal. Of course it didn't really matter to me when I used [Flower Dimension] to cut their bodies in half or into various pieces. That was until I saw something land in front of me. It had a jet black carapace with several written markings on its body that gave a demonic feeling.

"Oh, let's see how you fair against this" I said as I did the same thing I did to the other insects to this new creature. When my skill came in contact with this creature's body, instead of being cut in half like the others, it instead grew bigger. "So you're able to absorb mana" I said as I could see several blue lines move towards the markings on the creature's body, "but are you able to absorb this!"

[Root Duplication]

Several spears made of roots soon shot out my hand and pierced the creature's body. I could see small traces of blood leaking out of the creature's body, but the creature began to grow bigger and bigger by the second. I suddenly felt my body getting weaker and weaker by the second, "so you're trying to absorb my mana now aren't ya?"

[Demonic Roots]

"Then don't mind if I do the same to you" I shouted as the roots that were piercing the creature turned a dark crimson with black streaks running across it. The mana that the creature stole from me slowly began to return back to my body and as it returned back to me the creature's giant figure slowly began to shrink.

"Kreee" noticing the drastic change happening to its body, the creature let out a violent shriek before charging at me with its giant claw aimed for my head. Seeing this act, instead of dodging the attack or blocking it, I instead did a route that I felt would be fun. "Come at me you beast" I shouted out as I lunged towards the beast with a deranged look on my face. The creature slashed down onto my head and I felt the force of it land on me.

As my body fell over, something in my body told me to do something that I wouldn't usually do when I'm in this situation. When I usually get hit on a critical spot like my head, I would launch roots out to skewer the attacker or use [Flower Dimension] to cut them to pieces, but instead of that I let my body instead spin as if I was doing a front flip. As I spinned I felt something in my right leg feel weird, as if telling me to do something with it as I spinned. I followed what my body did and allowed a bit of demonic mana seep into my legs. As this happened I launched a slamming attack onto the creature head using the heel of my right foot. When my heel and the creature's head collided, the demonic mana that lingered in my leg shot out and ran through the creature's body.

"Kreeeeee" the creature cried out as its body suddenly began to spill blood out of its body. Cuts began to burst out of its skin and blood began to seep out of the creature's eye and mouth. As this happened I could see the demonic mana moved through the creature's body before ravaging the spots that it landed and moving to another spot. Seconds later the creature coughed one more time before falling over and laying limply onto the ground.

[The host has created a new skill [Demonic Aura]]

As I stood over the dead creature's body I received a notification from the system telling me about a new skill called [Demonic Aura]. Before I could see it, a hand reached out to me. I quickly dodged the attack, but was suddenly hit in my chest by another fist. As I stared at the being that launched the attack, I could only widen my eyes as I saw a being with a tremendous amount of mana standing in front me.

The being had a black carapace with green glowing lines running down its body. It had six eyes on its face as well as two giant jagged mandibles that appeared to be able to cut through steel. It appeared to stand at either between eight feet or nine. It showed four pairs of insect wings on its back, each having different lines of green running through them, creating a majestic color and showing how strong they were. On its head was a floating blob of demonic mana that took the shape of a floating crown.

The being stood there for several seconds before disappearing from its spot. I stood still for a second before quickly turning around and launching a punch towards a spot in the air. A fist appeared where I striked and the owner of the fist was a strange being that disappeared a couple of seconds ago. "I see green did something to ya" I said as I jumped back and stared at the creature that stood there, staring at me.

The next second the creature disappeared again and reappeared above me. It launched several strikes towards my head and to respond with its brutal onslaught of punches I released a series of punches as well. As our fists collided with one another I could feel the difference in our strength as my body was slowly being pushed into the ground.

[Flower Dimension]

Several holes in space appeared above the being as several roots sprung out and launched towards the being. But the moment that the holes began to form, the being suddenly stopped attacking and instead turned around and launched a strong gust of wind towards the roots that shot out. I stared at it with disbelief before suddenly being launched into the air by the being that suddenly appeared in front of me and kicked me in the stomach.

[Reapers Cloak]

A cloak quickly wrapped around me as I now floated in the air staring at the being. The being looked at me and stared at with intent filled eyes.

[Cursed Voice]

The creature continued to stare at me for about five seconds before opening its mouth and spoke a single word "fall." My body suddenly felt heavy before the next second my body gave way and plummeted from the sky and onto the ground. As I laid, unable to move a single part of my body, on the cold hard ground of the Demon realm, the being slowly walked towards me.

[Cursed Voice]

I tried to use a skill of mine, but the creature soon spoke once again, "freeze." My body suddenly stopped moving as my mana was constricted. "Damn it" I said in my mind as the creature stopped a few inches in front of me and crouched down. It moved its hand slowly towards my head before touching my forehead. "I got you Red" the being said before standing back up and snapping its fingers.

I could feel my body no longer being constricted as I quickly got up and looked at the being. "Who are you?" I said as I stared at the being that stood in front of me. The being turned around and looked at for a couple seconds a bit puzzled before making a clicking noise, "that's right, you never saw me after my evolution."

I stared at the being a bit confused before the answer on who this being dawned on me. "Green, is that you" I said as I looked at the insect in front of me. "The one and only" Green said as he chuckled at the end.

I stared at Green with a puzzled expression for a couple seconds before I finally spoke, "how did you get this strong?!" Green chuckled a bit before walking towards the tower, "I'll tell you once we're inside."

I stood there for a couple seconds before following Green back to his hive tower. As we walked I asked the system to show me Green's stat window.

Skill functions.

Spike shot (10): The user is able to shoot spikes out of their body damaging nearby opponents. These shots are able to pierce solid metal as well as various forms of magic.

Spike growth: The user is able to regrow their lost spikes. Cool down for 5 seconds.

Bulk (10): The user is able to increase their defense by 10 and their strength by 30

Corrosion (10): The user is able to send a corrosive poison on their body that if touched is able to corrode anything. This includes living and non living beings. Cool down for five minutes.

Gust (10): The user uses their wings to launch a strong gust of wind able to destroy metallic walls as well as different forms of magic that come in contact with it.

H-Virus (9): The user is able to create a virus that will transform its victims into abominations that can not die unless their head is chopped off. These victims can spread the H-virus through cuts, physical touch, inhaling, and consumption. The H-Virus is able to affect many living beings that inhale it or have low resistance to it, this includes all forms of races.

Virus breath (10 Max) : The user is able to create a breath that spans for miles that contains a virus that is able to lower opponents overall stats by twenty points + 50 for every level they have. The Virus in the breath is also able to chip away at any form of defensive or attack magic.

Hive Mind (10 Max): The user is able to control creatures that were affected by the H-virus and are able to give a series of complicated orders to these targets. This can vary from doing simple hauling or digging to researching or training. Note this will only affect those who were infected by the users H-virus and nothing else.

Override (4)- The user is able to override the control of Hive minds and make the Hive and Hive Mind the user override obey them. The user is also able to fry the mind of those who are not a part of a Hive or are a Hive Mind.

Curse Creation (10 Max)- The user is able to create curses that can attach to living and non-living beings. These curses can attach themselves to things such as items, flesh, or a certain space such as the air or ground. These curses can have a various degree of effects, all that matters is the user's understanding of how to use them.

Foresight (10 Max)- The user is able to see minutes or months into the future. There are no cool downs and the only downside is the mental strain it has on the user.

Curse Voice (3)- The user is able to cast curses onto anything around them depending on how strong minded the user is. If a living being hears the voice of the user while the skill is being used, they will immediately be affected by the curse. While objects such as the ground or items will have the curse linger on it for several minutes before it decapitates. Can only be used three times.

Rule over Demons (2)- The user is able to control nearby weak demons and be able to give them any commands.

Curse Armor (7)- The user is able to cast armor made of various curses onto their skin that can extend outwards as if it was a living and attack a target. Once the armor makes contact with the target will the curses be transferred to it.

Curse Whip (10 Max)- A whip made out of one or various types of curses that can extend for about ten miles. Upon contact with its target, the curses attached will latch onto the target and affect them with the many types of curses it contains.

I stared wide eyed as I saw Green's stat window. "Just what on earth did he face when I was asleep?" I said in my mind as we reached the base of his tower.
