Meeting Red part 1

"Should we tame some beasts now" said Byro bored.

"I guess so" said Elizabeth also bored.

The two of them got up and began to walk deeper in the forest. They started looking around trying to find a creature.

"Hey Elizabeth what are you doing?" said byro as he saw Elizabeth for the fifth time putting an x mark on a tree.

"I'm making a mark that way we don't get lost" she said as she finished making the x.

"I guess that's a smart thing to do. But where are the creatures at. We have been walking fo a good ten or so minutes but I have not seen a creature near us."

Elizabeth also looked around and noticed that she had not seen a creature or to be more specific a single bit of life in the area except for the trees. Which looked broken and distorted in a weird way.

"Yeah it is strange, but was caused by the people of the church since they came here and cleared out nearby creatures. So who knows how far they went to clear out the creatures."

Byro hearing this logical conclusion made sense in his mind. Since many of the students were the future of the human race and many coming from wealthy and strong families.

As the two kept exploring the land they came across a creature that was the size of a bull and looked like a mix between a praying mantis and eagle.

"Wow a Betis, they are rare creatures to find in the wild since they only come out of their homes at night to feast on unsuspecting prey" said Elizabeth as she stared at the creature with amazement. "You want to catch it Byro" she turned around and saw Byro huddled into a ball mumbling "There are no big bugs here, there are no bug bugs here."

"Oh yeah you have a fear of bugs, right" said Elizabeth as she looked at the Betis. "No I just hate how bugs look and how they use savage way to fight" said Byro as he said out in impairment.

Keree*

The Beits roared out and began to charge at Elizabeth.

Elizabeth then turned around and prepared for combat. The creature got closer and closer until it was just a few feet away. "You ready to die" as she was about to slash at the creature, it just ran past her and went for Byro.

"Oh yeah they always go for the weak ones" Elizabeth shouted as she turned around and watched it run at Byro. Hearing what Elizabeth yelled out Byro turned around and saw the creature charging at him.

"AAaaah" yelled Byro as he got up and began to run away. "Sis Help Me" yelled Byro as he swerved around trees making the Betis either hit the tree or fall.

"I can't since it's our family rule to allow the two fighters to have a honorable 1 vs 1" said Elizabeth as she lowers her raiper.

Byro cursed his family rule and now has to fight this frightening abomination of a creature. "Oh Goddes of gems please lend me thy strength" Byro began to chant while praying to the goddes for help.

The betis was only a couple feet away from Byro and was ready to swing its matis like claw down on him.

Clang*

As the betis swung its claw down instead of hitting flesh it hit something hard and cold. When the betis looked at what it hit it saw a wall of gems blocking the path of its target.

Greee*

The betis roared and began swing violently at the crystal wall. Within seconds cracks began to appear which startled Byro. "I really don't want to touch that thing" said Byro as he finnaly pulled his sword out of his sheath.

"But it is life or death situation here" Byro then swung his crystal blade several times at the crystal wall.

The betis stopped slashing and took several steps back before collapsing to the ground.

"Well that's new what did you do" said Elizabeth as she walked past the betis corpse.

"I just slashed at the crystal wall praying that it would launch some of crystal at the creature" said byro as he pointed at several cut like holes in the wall that was formed.

"and I guess it did work. Now sis can you please take the skull out" said byro as he began to walk away until he was yanked by his shirt.

"Oh no you don't the victor takes the spoils and so it's YOUR job to take the skull out of YOUR target" Elizabeth then walked away from a dumbfounded Byro who looked like he was going to cry.

"Why did this have to happen to me" said Byro as he walked to the corpse and began to cut at the head which launched several shot of green blood at him "AAAAH."

Several minutes passed and when Byro finnaly came back to the tree base he saw Elizabeth laying on the ground looking at the sky. Elizabeth turned in his direction noticing the green blood on his shirt "What happened to you?"

"hfhjdus" Byro grumbled as he placed the skull infront of his tent and went inside.

If one listened carefully one could hear cursing of many forms.

After a couple of minutes passed Byro walked put of his tent and sat down infront of the fire that Elizabeth started. "So do you know what creature your going to try to tame" said byro as he grabbed a beef jerky out of his bag and tore it in half.

"Thank you and I think I do" Elizabeth said as he grabbed a beef jerky that Byro handed her. "It has to be one of the two I'm thinking of. It either must have an ability to heal people at a fast rate or heal people where any list limbs are regrow. The other one that it must have is a strong connection to nature since my ability depends on nature."

"So basically it either has to be a healer or a creature that you can use your ability with, if I'm correct."

"Yeah that's basically it." said Elizabeth as she formed to sticks out of the ground and handed one to Byro.

"Do you know what creature you want" said Elizabeth as she putted her beef jerky on the stick and hanged it over the fire.

"I guess it's one that is a master of flight or is able to use light abilities since with my crystal ability it would help in combat." Byro put his jerky on the stick and put it over the fire as well.

"That sounds like a good Idea but why a flying one" said Elizabeth confused. She started spinning her beef jerky over the fire.

"Flying since my crystal abilities only form at least five to ten feet from me and stays there for a long time. So having a flying beast I could for crystals in the air and use it to my advantage."

"That's a smart idea also you jerky is burning" Hearing this Byro looked at his jerky and saw that one side was burnt black while the other side raw.

"Ah no my jerky can we trade Eli."

"Nope" Hearing that quick answer from Elizabeth Byro was sad and ate the beef jerky while having a sad look on his face.

After the two of them finished eating their beef jerky Byro put out the fire and went inside his tent. Elizabeth did the same thing and fell asleep.

In a cave on top a mountain many creatures were seen sitting there while waiting for something.

"It's a shame that lord two head died to the humans when he was looking for his kid" said lord tusk as he looked at an empty seat.

"Well that lizard deserved to die since it constantly took some of my eggs" said a creature that looked like a commode dragon the size of a bus.

"To be fair to Lord venom you did kill some of his mates and his offsprings and so you did deserve that" said lord tusk.

"So what he deserved to be mine and any other female that went for him should perish" said lord venom who was glaring at Lord tusk.

"Hey Lord tusk I know I know you for about two years and all but what is your gender" said a bird that had five heads each a diffrent color.

There was silence at the circle of creatures as everyone looked at Lord tusk.

"Yeah actually what is you gender."

"Isn't he a male since he is bulky and strong."

"You might be right Lord Six legs since alot of their males are bulky and strong."

"But you forget that many of Lord tusks kind are born to be bulky and strong."

"But a female being bulky and strong does not sound right to me lord Three ring."

The creatures began to talk to one another about the gender of Lord Tusk. Many thought of Lord tusk to be female and almost all thought He was a he.

"So lord Tusk what is your gender" said lord six legs which was that albino spider.

"I'm a female."

Silence engulfed the circle once again as all the creatures looked at one another.

"What does it surprise you that I'm a female. Look at my beautiful and perfect body that I have" said lord tusk who smiled.

"Hahaha that is the most funniset thing I ever heard you say Lord tusk" said lord venom who continued to laugh.

Lord tusk glared at Lord venom who in response made a grin on her face.

"Cough* Any way Lord of the sky do you have anything to report to us" said lord Three rings which was a lion whose mane created three eletrical rings.

"There are reports of the children of the Barnes family having killed one of the candidates to be invited to the table. There have also been reports of the Demon in the forest having more children kill anything that entered its domain. As we lost now five lords to its offsprings." Heaeing this many of the lords looked at the Lord of the sky with disbelief.

"Five lords lost to simple offsprings, do you know how they were killed" said a creature that was snake with black and white scales.

"Many who survived stated that they would first attack at random places as a distraction for the rest to surround the prey. They would then charge in waves going for many places such as the spine and their legs stopping the prey from running away. They would then charge at the prey tearing them apart just like Lord Two head."

Hearing the way the offsprings attack made almost all the creatures terrified except for a few. "Those who went to its turf were dumb thinking that they could win against a creature that was Known to kill that annoying ape" said lord Strong tooth as he smiled.

The sight of the smile sent chills down all the creatures backs. As they knew that they were weaker than Lord strong tooth.

"Any other reports Lord of thw sky" said lord Three rings.

"The church has sent more members to the island after the increase in death."

All the creatures than turned around in looked into a hole where sounds of clanging could be heard.

"Lord chef made a delicious meal with the students he got and I hope he makes more this time" said Lord strong tooth who screeched one of his fangs.

"If there is nothing else you are dismissed"

All the creatures got up and either walked or flyed to the exit of the cave.

As lord strong tooth, the last one in the cave, was about to walk put he stopped and looked at the hold in the cave.

"I hope you use the ingredients that we bring to their foolest."

As he walked out he heard a deep booming roar and several metalic clanging.

Two days have passed and Byro and Elizabeth could be seen acting at their tree fort eating Beef jerky with mushrooms besides them.

"Man who knew beef jerky and mushrooms would taste delicious" said Byro as he bit into both the beef jerky and mushroom.

"I did and you would to if you ate your vegetables at the family table" said Elizabeth as he carefully brought a mushroom to her mouth and gently bit into it.

"All they put on our plates is either a big peice of grass or one of the red onions."

"Those red onions help increase your physique and mind, if you have a mind of course."

Hearing this Byro was going to refute but stopped and continued eating his food.

After they were done eating Byro looked at the two skulls they got and started thinking.

"What's on your mind brother" said Elizabeth who saw byros make weird face.

"It's just that we only seen two creatures in the last three days and they were either injured or tired."

"And why does this bother you?"

"It's just all of the creatures that we killed had holes in their bodies that were not by us and has some marks that looked like they were bitten."

Elizabeth looked at her brother weirdly "I think you over thinking this brother. It was probably that they ran away from powerful creatures and were unlucky to have met us."

"Yeah that might be true, but for some reason I still have this bad feeling in my gut" said Byro as he looked deep into the forest.

[Yo this is the aurthor and I'm sorry I couldn't update this I have been having trouble logging back into my account since the thing forgot my password and all that. With me being locked out fo a bit. But it's now fixed, to fix this mistake I will either be writing chapter that are between 2000 words to 3000. Maybe a few 10,000 but only for special occasions or every then chapters. But still I'm sorry I haven't updated this story yet. That is all]
