The Demon's Hidden Treasures

“I didn’t want this Izan, this is all your fault” she said looking away from the mirror to look away from him. “I know but I need you and you agreed to this, so it’s not my fault after all” he said forcing her face to look back at her. “I did not, you coerced me into this so don’t you turn this on me, now please let’s get on with what is necessary” “I am not sleeping with you, sex is intimate and sacred” she said standing to walk away from him. She couldn’t believe she was denying a good night with him. The beautiful and handsome King of the darkness Izan. “Trust me I know darling, it is sacred” he stressed on the ‘is’ but then continued, “but to you it’s not” She narrowed her eyes finally looking at his gorgeous face. Sometimes he looked cute and she felt like she could pinch his cheeks but on the other hand, dark pleasure played on his face. “What do you mean Izan?” How did he know about her habits back at home? “Well, I did some digging and, I found alot so this should not be a big issue for you Neera” “With you it is” “I’m sorry, but they’re here and we need to do it” “No” her eyes snapped to the door when a knock interrupted their banter. “Yes Neera” he said his black eyes glinting the dark of the room. The door opened letting in cold air and three people. Why did she agree to his offer? **** What happens when you take an unwanted journey to find treasure. Devil's Incarnate

One week to,

One month.

And a month is all it took for her to get bored of a life where nothing in particular happened. Nothing eventful or memorable. Anna rarely visited. They both were completely at the back of her mind.

Haelyn had read almost half of the books in the home library and every night she blabbed about all the book tropes she encountered in some books though some were fiction compared to others.

Other books taught her life skills such as fencing, sword spar, tennis and chess; which she was exceedingly terrible at.

Neera spent her time practicing archery. She wasn't that good back when she was at the palace but a month's practice could do a lot. She vented all her anger towards the trees all around the compound.

Anger from the fact that they had to hunt for food, it wasn't an issue, the issue was Izan left them, After Izan hypocritically said that they were his responsibility. He left them in that dreadful forest to suffer for and fend for themselves.

It was more than once when they both heard noise from outside the house each night. They slept together because of that.

"I'm really tired of this place, how about we venture out"

She dropped the bow to the side and the arrow beside it too. "I am too but I don't think we should do that"

"Why?" Haelyn was the curious type and her curiosity wasn't fun sometimes.

"We just shouldn't, we don't know what's out there" Neera cast the forest around them a lazy gaze, she wasn't particularly fond of it. Although sometimes she thought she saw shadows dancing at the edges of the forest, she couldn't deem the forest safe.

"Is that what really worries you or is it just hope?"

Hope for Izan to return (even though it was hopeless) soon. It was stupid to have hope that someone she barely knew would return. Maybe he even became lifeless again.

"Hope for what?"

"That he might come back, which must be false"

"You don't know that" Neera turned back to go back to her earlier business. But she couldn't since her eyes welled with tears. She missed home and her family and she really wanted to live.

She didn't want this, this wasn't living. She needed adventure and fun and trouble and a lot more and also needed a couple of more orgasms. Yes that was necessary.

The tears were for the loneliness and how easily trusting she was towards Izan.

"Oh yes I do, I've watched a lot of k-drama and soap operas, if they hate you they don't come back but if they care they do come back"

"He doesn't hate me Haelyn" she retorted suddenly irritated.

"How do you know that?"

She didn't know that.

"Can we change the topic, where did you want to go?" if they kept on that topic she guessed she would end up snapping at Haelyn and she couldn't do that to her present and only friend. Haelyn's eyes livened up in excitement which was one of the best things about Haelyn, she was easy going.

"There's a rail way line on that side of the forest, I think we should venture there we have nothing to do so why not?"

Neera sighed giving in, "Ok"

Haelyn walked inside the house and got Neera's bag and put a book and a pen and some other essentials like water. They both left from there after a few minutes.

Rico was the devil's incarnate, Haelyn had said. That was a completely inconvenient thing to remember but it seemed that she really, would live to see Rico after all. He was after them after all. They both didn't know that they were under a dark eye. Although they couldn't see it, something had been watching them day in day out.

Watching and waiting for that one time that they would stray away from their safe haven. Unfortunately for them, they didn't know that they were safe until Haelyn felt a cold breeze of wind hit her making goose bumps crawl up her skin.

"Something feels different, it's like we just walked out of something" Neera said feeling it too. Warning bells rang in her mind warning her of forthcoming danger.

The spirit of adventure inside Haelyn overpowered the warning in her mind. She needed adventure and this was it, they'd come so far why turn back now. Her mother had taught her to always listen to the small voice at the back of her mind(her conscious), she never had and she wouldn't now. This was the one last time mom.

Haelyn promised herself over her mama's and brother's grave.

"I think we should go back Haelyn" Neera said taking a step back. She felt more than Haelyn, her premonition told her a different narration. Something was totally wrong out here.

"No we should go, it's just some distance from here come on don't be scared Princess Neera of Arcadia" she teased.

"Ok but this shouldn't take long" Neera smiled finally following Haelyn deeper and true to her words it wasn't far. Neera had been walking some distance from Neera so by the time she reached the so called train, Haelyn was already inside, exploring the debris.

"I'm in here" her excited voice said from the inside of the old train. Neera was quick to get on the train and get away from the chilling cold accompanied by the fear she felt from outside all by herself. She was met by a tied up Haelyn on the floor of the cold train, crying and the left side of her lip bloody. And almost unconscious.

"What happe-" she almost ran to help Haelyn to help her up but a hand wrapped around her throat. Gripping her tight and restricting the flow of air to her head. She struggled under the persons cold hard grip until she finally met with the metal grey cold eyes of the famous Rico.

She had never met him but she knew and felt it in her bones, the chill that run up her spine was enough confirmation.

"Someone told me that I would like you" he said.

Cold deep and definitely not sexy.
