Early in the morning, Hyun Jae is ready to leave. Kim, who saw her daughter getting ready so early in the morning, must have been surprised.
"Early today Hyun?"
"I have something to do, mom," Hyun Jae replied as he took the bread and ate it as he walked.
"Is there a case you should investigate?" asked Kim Min Jae. Hyun Jae just nodded his head.
"You don't have to wait for me to come home, ma'am. I brought my own keys."
Kim didn't answer. He just took a deep breath and looked at Hyun Jae's departure who seemed a little rushed.
"Actually, I never wanted him to be a police officer. However, he was very passionate since childhood. And I know he really enjoys and loves this job," said Kim Min Jae to Eun Tak.
"As parents, we are sometimes selfish, Kim. But, if it really makes our children happy, let it be. Forget about our selfishness for a moment," said Eun Tak.
"Seeing him happy, that's enough for me, Eun," said Kim.
