Qacues was overjoyed by the offer so he took it willingly though he didn't know what he had truly signed up for. Phansesis studies on Kiran showed that they kept a strong right flank which if you are assaulting is the left side according to your view.
Qacues was being told to fight the hardest part of the next battle and for the reward of pushing the capital, he was unknowing being duped as Phansesis already planned to let him help invade the capital.
Qacues was training his men to push in unison weather the drum beats or not and he trained them more importantly for loss of some friends.
he had no clue that he would be given a mission from the king himself until a royal envoy arrived and handed him a letter before riding off again.
inside the letter started like so. "to the honorable Qacues, I enstate a mission on you of dire importance. You are to acompany Phansesis in the occupation and destruction of Kiran, though upon finishing his mission I want you to kill Phansesis and when you complete this goal I will give you government over the occupied Kiran."
Qacues was shaking with excitement not only was he to gain honor in front of the king but he could get ride of the thorn in his side while doing so.

the next battle was in a large field where Phansesis had stationed his men while waiting for Kiran forces to meet him.
the leader of Toppin castle had pulled his troops to meet Phansesis, because of the food shortage that starved his men he knew that a prolonged fight was pointless so he was hoping to crush Phansesis with a swift assault.
Phansesis heard he was coming before the army was seen and he had his soldiers waiting in formation.
slowly the hills surrounding the fields where covered in 30,000 infantry that were desperate for a victory but desperate means starved in their case as they were horrifically weak and tired from the march to Phansesis.
the only part of the army not starved was the horses seeing as it was easier to maintain their food, the Kiran army was wiped before they even drew their blades.

.
Phansesis stood in the field at the front of his men, he turned to do his speech.
"Brothers this army is the last thing keeping us from the Kiran capital and royal reserves, if we crush them here then we will have no qualms with marching to the king and asking for his surrender! so stand ready and strong for those of us who die today will be remembered as heroes of Purtain!"
with that Phansesis started the army forward and they all began marching to meet their foes, while on the other side Kiran did the same and within a minute the army was 26 feet from each other when the battle exploded.
fireballs rained down at random and swords clashed against armor the Kiran army fought so desperately that they pushed Purtain back three times, it was then that Phansesis rallied his men seeing that he was closer to loosing.
Phansesis rushed forward on a horse screaming wildly and swinging his blade with accuracy cutting down man after man, soon the Purtain army gave out a glorious shout and followed him into battle.
Phansesis saw nothing but red as he cut into his enemies and then a sharp pain entered his right leg just below his nee and as he looked over someone stabbed his horse and Phansesis fell from his mount cutting as he fell, then he arose and swung madly until his main force caught up to him, to which he the. integrated into the line and fought among his men.
the battlefield was bloody leaving 19,000 dead on the Kiran side and 8,000 dead on Phansesis's, they were not disheartened though to see the Kiran army make camp to wait for the next battle and Phansesis decided that this night he would pull a night raid to further destroy the weakened enemies.
he didn't want to send anyone who was tired from the battle so he sent reserves only with Assasson as their leader, this one he kept a secret and claimed they where going on patrol so that on one volunteered. Phansesis sat down and watched the Kiran camp and within 10 minutes it erupted in flames as Assasson swept through crushing all in his way.

two days had passed and Phansesis was now staring at the capital of Kiran Tishrin with glorious admiration, he saw the smooth polished walls and the sturdy foundation of rock which it was laid upon and in his mind off the wall alone he knew that he wouldn't just take Kiran unless their king surrendered this day.
they had traveled far and seen many things but this wall was nothing like what they saw and the more disturbing thing that was seen were the well equipped and beautifully dressed Royal guards, wearing turbans of neon blue and heavy metal chest pieces with gold embroidery, they had great shields and we'll curved swords. though Kiran had a secret weapon that stood in files of 3 and numbered around 12 in total, these where the fire wizards of Balvain hired purely for the upcoming defence of the capital.
this one is short and I believe it will not be long before the end due to this being a short story but I will be dragging out the capital due to its great importance
