The Daydreaming Cultivator

Warning: this story is written by a lazy dumbf*ck There may or may not be an upload schedule When I say this novel is for general audiences I mean general audiences. marshmallows and men of culture will both enjoy certain parts of the story(I think). MC is not Beta. For those of you looking for some sense of romance/harem, there will also be a balance of that, but in a weird way. You'll have to read and see. It is a cultivation novel, but the cliche shit will be done comically. MC is quirky and funny, not op but not weak in comparison to those he surrounds himself with. No edgy shit, but the MC really likes profound sh*t because it makes him think. MC will not shy away from killing, especially when put in a corner, but he doesn't actively go around. MC has great respect for the value of a life and freedom of choice. He respects consciousness and intelligence. He's not a genius, but he, in most senses, could be considered smart. Has a lot of fears and dislikes that will be presented comically. I f you notice something wrong to dumb, put it in the comments and I will probably change it. If you're looking for Yuri or Yaoi, leave. I have respect for the LGBT community, but I am straight and it doesn't really have a place in my novels. Know that if I ever write a harem it will not be those nor will it be those bullshit bi-harem novels that give me NTR vibes. I also hate NTR and only like Netori when it's justified. MC's women only sleep with MC. I'm just stating my opinion at this point. Also I like Yandere's. They are not necessarily going to show up in the story, but thought it should be said. Not the scary ones though. Just the scary in real life, but adorable/awesome on paper ones.

The cultivation world has existed for as long as anyone could remember. Stories about immortals razing cities with a flick of their wrist or a blink of the eyes represented an ideal for the cultivators of the world. However, such immortals who could even try to destroy cities were few and far between in the First Heaven. This Heaven is where many would either choose to start their cultivation journey or remain a mortal and live in fear. Our story takes place in part in a sect simply titled, "The Heavenly Sect." Unlike other sects who had specialties such as swords or beauty, The Heavenly Sect was focused on simply cultivation without speciality. It was located on the edge of a part of the forest known simply as The Depths.

The Depths is also a part of our story. It occupies almost half of the cultivation world, houses spirit beasts, and extends into every heaven. Most sects are built on the edge of this forest known for its plethora of rare spirit beasts that one could sell for materials and use as cultivation resources. However, it was insanely dangerous. While they couldn't verbally communicate with humans, some spirit beasts were just as intelligent and there were rumors of them even building their own kingdoms/hierarchy. Not only that, but even regular animals sometimes could gain a similar intelligence though most were still just considered as animals. Spirit beasts could normally only be hunted by someone of a higher realm than their own as their natural advantages made it very dangerous for those of even a similar realm to hunt. Not to mention that these were simply the beasts that lived on the outskirts. None could venture in to the center and very few to the inner layers.

However, returning to our story, the Heavenly Sect, was located at the edge of the Depths. It was common practice for cultivators to go in and hunt the beasts that lived on the outskirts for cultivation purposes. One could partake in missions and accumulate points based on their achievements. The sect had a store for cultivation resources and other things known as Heaven's Shop and a hanger where one receives and returns from missions just called the H Center. These were located in the outer court. There was also the inner court and the core court.

The Heavenly sect was not prestigious, but it was both well off and well known. It didn't have much against the sects that stood at the top but the sect certainly didn't stand at the bottom. As such, people hoping to try their luck would often flood into the outer court. This novel focuses on one such person who joined the sect not too long ago and his cultivation journey.

Not gonna explain everything. If you've read cultivation novels then you can fill in the gaps. Give me money if you want. If their is something you don't understand please tell me in comments and I will fix it. I can't keep track of everything. Another chapter coming out today and more tomorrow as well.
