The Dark Man

WARNING: THIS BOOK CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT. In the slightly dark room lay the man of power (Nicholas Alviero Ross). He made the law and gave the rules. And then there was a woman(Zhavia McKay), who also made the law and gave the rules. She had the power to cast a man with just a look. Will he tame her down with all the power he possesses? Will she bend to his rules? Or will he bend to hers? But then, he has a superiority. He is a jealous daredevil. "She's mine, my property, mine alone, no one else's". Nicholas clenched his fist hard. His eyes darkened with anger. "What's mine cannot be yours". He said in a dangerous tone as he looked straight at Damon with those devouring eyes. How did she do it? How did she bring out that part of him? How did she turn a cold-hearted beast into a mindless dog?

Chapter 42 Wrath Of The Dark Man 3

"Sir, we got the bastard Hilton".

Tiger was on the phone with The dark man moving back and forth as he spoke. His eyes were everywhere like he was ready to strike, he was impatient.

"You have Hilton?"

Nicholas spoke calmly. He sounded really relaxed as if he had no problem at all.

"Hmm... I don't think that is necessary anymore, but have fun anyways". He cut the call before Tiger could say anything leaving him confused.

What did he mean by that?

Tiger furrowed his brows trying to merge his words. He placed the phone on the table and placed his both hands beside the phone. His head was faced downward and his eyes were closed.

Shortly after he held that position, a slight thud came from the door and opened to the huge figure. His scent hit him before he started walking toward where he stood.

Klaus's eyes held unto the back of Tiger. Stepping into that room, he could sense that something was off.

"You're not going back to the estate?"

His voice called from behind and Tiger turned to meet his gaze.

"Nicholas doesn't give a shit about Jeff Hilton, he sounded like he had everything under control, and I feel like I'm the one in the dark".

He took more steps toward Klaus, locking eyes with him and standing right in front of him as if he was challenging him. He frowned.

He was beyond furious and felt useless.

"Is there something I need to know, Alejandro?"

A couple of hours ago while Klaus was in his search room, his eyes were fixed on the large screen of the monitor as he stood behind the man operating it. There were other screens and other people were operating them but his eyes were focused on just one. Slowly, his pupils followed the red dot blinking on the screen.

"That's him". The man behind the screen said and Klaus nodded in irritation.

"He is heading to the east, and our men are right there," The man pointed with a grin on his face. "we got him now".

Klaus's lips lifted to his words. "Good job".

His eyes were still fixed on the screen when the buzz of his phone diverted his gaze from the system to his pocket. Realizing who the caller was, he exited the room and picked up, leaving the man staring occasionally.

"We have Jeff Hilton on our sight, sir". He quickly announced to Nicholas.

"I don't need that fool in my custody, I just want to remind his folks who they are dealing with. Their psycho son is the least of my problems right now". He spoke calmly but the anger was boldly written in his tone and Klaus noted.

"Your wish is my command, your order is all that is required".

His side lips lifted to his words.

"I want you to set the entire executive warehouse province of the Hiltons ablaze".

Klaus nodded with a mischievous look of excitement plastered on his face. Jeff had it coming a long time ago, messing with Nicholas like that. Everyone knows who the dark man is and no one dares to call his attention to themselves. They know what it means to be on the wrong side of Nicholas Alviero Ross. Only a man that has signed for death in hell takes on a bold step like that, and Nicholas knows that Jeff didn't have balls as humongous as that to go up against him. He knows that Gerald Hilton is the man behind the curtains.

"Consider it done". Klaus assured and the line was cut off.

He strolled back into the room that held his tech geniuses and called their attention to himself.

"You guys can have fun with Hilton for a while, I have some urgency to attend to". He ordered and dashed out of the room.

" Yes sir".

Presently in Tiger's study,

He exhaled.

He saw the anger in his eyes and for the first time since he knew him, he saw frustration printed on his face. Hell, he felt pity for him.

"I was sent on another mission while I asked the guys to take care of Jeff". Tiger shot him a dangerous glare but he continued anyway.

"Nicholas asked me to light up the executive warehouse of the Hiltons".

"Nicholas asked... you?" He furrowed his brows in disappointment.

Why would Nicholas ask Klaus instead of him? Why was he feeling as if he was growing distant and farther away from Nicholas every day?

"Yes...," Klaus replied with a look of guilt on his face. Every single time he looked into his eyes he couldn't help but feel pity. Maybe it was something in the air, but he hated to see him that way.

"... he probably sent me because he knew you were busy with the paperwork".

"No need to act nice to me...". His hands were no longer crossed on his chest, he took them down into his pockets and drifted away from Klaus, strolled behind his desk, and picked up his jacket. "You earned your shot".

"I..,"

"We can't keep Nicholas waiting".

Klaus was cut off before he could say another word as Tiger strolled out of the room.

Great!
